Cornerstone Park Hyatt Seoul — Restaurant in Seoul

We stayed here for 5 days and had breakfast that was nice. Service was attentive. Small fruit selection but great French toast. We went online to look at dinner menu. Nothing online was actually being served that we chose. When we were seated it was next to picked jars of kimchi in a freezer used for breakfast. Not the type of table one considers for evening. We were tired and wanted a relaxing meal so didn’t want to leave and decided to make the best of very sad Italian experience. Then dishes started to slam and crash behind us. That was it. For a buffet, there were barely any selections for the main meal. 1 side (vegetables) 1 pasta (lasagna). There was a good selection of cold seafood, but when I asked for melted butter, they brought me regular cold butter. They have a menu where you can order items to table. The risotto was undercooked and flavorless. The halibut was fishy and flavorless. Never received the lamb we ordered. Ribeye from the buffet: first round was ok second round was overcooked. Not a big dessert selection but the ones there were tasty. Overall we paid almost $240 USD, was not worth the price. Would not recommend eating here. I've frequented Cornerstone often (before and after the reno) and the food has always been good, that goes without saying, but what keeps me coming back is the location. It is a very convenient location for business meals as it is located at the first floor of the Park Hyatt. The neighborhood is convenient for anyone staying in Gangnam and the ambiance and food are top notch.
