Etoile — Restaurant in Seoul

Madelines were nothing extraordinary. The texture is more fluffy than the typical madelines which was sorta unusual. When madelines have different texture, it becomes something other than madelines. Who knows, that’s what draws crowds to this place. Grabbed the best sellers yet I honestly don’t know what the hype is about. They have variety of Madeline and financier. Also got chocolate croissant and plain croissant. To be honest, everything tasted very ordinary to me. Nothing special yet plain.

Among all the excellent bakeries in Korea, this one didn’t impress me at all. No intention of revisiting. Seoul is full of better madelines and financiers.
