Gabie — Restaurant in Seoul

Honestly, never had such a bad experience in cafe. Arrived in the morning for a day of study with three friends. First of all, realized the coffee is expensive, but that is alright we say, as the place seems nice and we can use the wifi. After two hours there, two of us leave to get a snack leaving the bags with the third. Coming back to the bags that had disapperead. The owners screamig at us (in korean) that you cannot leave your stuff and exit the cafe. So after 10 minutes thinking our bags got stolen , we realize it was the owners who took the bags while our friend was at the toilet. And they did not want to give the bags back as a 'fine' for exiting the cafe. THIS IS COMPLETELY CRAZY....

Nice atmosphere. Very quiet area on second floor, great place for focused work.

Gets a little loud during the daytime.

Went back a second time, and quite an unpleasant experience. Way too many people talking loudly on second floor and the middle aged staff was very rude to me.

Approached me and told me I had to order once every 5hours.

They never add sugar to their coffee, it is extremely overpriced, and their other "real" food is even more overpriced.

The only reason they have so many customers is because of the good reviews they get.

Would not go back against after that...

I think this is a perfect cafe. I don’t say that lightly, I really think so. I think this is the first review I’ve ever written, that’s how much I love this cafe! The staff are lovely, there’s plenty of room to sit (upstairs, downstairs, and balcony seating), it’s beautifully designed and has a great ambiance. The Americano is also fantastic. And there are charging outlets everywhere. It’s an incredible place to get work done at any hour. And so few places are open early in this area, giving Gabie extra extra points....
