Had the pleasure of coming to this hair salon with 2 of my friends while vacation in Seoul.
Once we arrived, we were able to check in fairly quickly, and directed to have a seat in the waiting area. One of the staff came by and gave us a questionnaire in English to fill out where we can specify what is it that we were looking to do during our appointment.
By the time we completed our questionnaire, we were greeted by our stylist, Na-Young, and led to a small wall of lockers where we changed into our robes, stored our jackets and belongings before being led to a long table in the middle of the salon where there were these machines that are used for various services, such as perms and treatments suspended from a railing secured on a ceiling. It’s not as scary as it sounds. It’s rather just seems like a fixture. The long table is where one would typically get their hair dyed, treatments applied. The chairs and mirrors lined up along the walls are where you would get a haircut. The shampoo room is dark and moody but relaxing.
As soon as we sat down, we were provided a drinks menu where one of the staff took down our beverages of choices. At the very same long table is where our stylist would sit down with you and start your consultation. Our stylist Na-Young speaks English, so all 3 of us were able to do our consultation in English ☺️
She was very knowledgeable and took the time to ask us what our preferences were as well as give us recommendations on what we could do and what she doesn’t recommend doing given our lifestyle habits and hair condition. She was also very patient when we had questions and accommodating when we asked for specific things.
We each got a combination of the following services done - haircut, colour, head spa, and head treatment.
While the head spa and treatments didn’t happen in a private room like some of the other salons. We were fed drinks and snacks, during the whole duration of our appointment.
The salon is surrounded with warm lighting, wooden accents throughout, plenty of plants and books on display as decor which gives a very inviting atmosphere. The staff here are all so friendly and nice. The language barrier wasn’t much of an issue because you could just use translation apps.
I would definitely recommend coming here as part of your beauty itinerary if you ever have a chance to visit Seoul! You can make reservations with Na-Young on instagram...
Read moreYebin is an extremely skilled and professional hairstylist. I'm absolutely thrilled with the hairstyle she designed for me - both the cut and color selection perfectly suited my preferences. What impressed me most was how she patiently explained every detail with gentle precision, from styling techniques to color formulation. Her fluent English eliminated all communication barriers, making the entire consultation smooth and enjoyable. This was my first experience getting a Korean-inspired hairstyle, and the result completely exceeded my expectations. I'll definitely return for her expertise and highly recommend her services to anyone seeking a transformative hair experience.
I just had an amazing experience with Chaebin! Her hair washing technique is incredibly soothing, and the massage is spot on. While washing my hair, Chaebin took the time to explain the shampoos, conditioners, and treatments being used, which I really appreciated. I felt so relaxed under their gentle touch that I actually drifted off to sleep. Chaebin's attention to detail made me feel very happy. I can't wait to see them...

I left with stains all over my face, they started dying at the roots first (which lifted significantly faster than the rest of my hair), and it felt rushed. If you know anything about hair dying you know that the scalp processes faster due to the heat from the head. I left with bright roots. They should’ve started at my ends and then took the time to work up to achieve even processing.
The scalp detox was nice, nothing innovative or analysis like was advertised.
For the price they charge, I was expecting thorough and professional work. They give you extra discounts which is nice but you felt pressured to write a google review as they watch over you to spin the wheel. Felt like a manufacturing plant to get another foreigner in and out.
Pro: I brought my sister in law (her first time in Korea) and the foreigner friendly aspect was helpful. Brought refreshments and snacks to ensure we were well taken care of. But that’s normal at Korean hair salons. I did leave with smooth and shiny hair (which is...
