Portguese for "duck", O'Pato is one of the newest options in the popular Haebang-cheon (Freedom Village) district opening at 8am for breakfast.
The interior is carefully curated with European antique furtniture, art-deco tiling and a 1970s Heathkit vintage stereo playing music from the likes of Dave Brubeck and Duke Ellington. The highlight here is their main brunch menu, O'Pato toast (photo) made with white bread, earl grey jam, scrambled eggs, green salad and grilled bacon. Wait till 10am and you can try some of their traditional European breads including sea salt bread, leavend baguettes, sourdoughs and Canneles.

However, the amount of meat on the pastrami sandwich was extremely sad. For a moment, I thought it was a joke. If the price of pastrami is an issue, it shouldn't be offered at all if that's what the end result looks like. Everything else was delicious.
