So I’ve always operated in the hypothesis that pizza, like tacos, are hard to mess up: even the not so good ones are still pretty good. Hypothesis rejected: thanks Owl’s Cutlet. That was by far the worst pizza I have ever had. This restaurant is obviously still in operation because of its location and view on top of the mountain, and definitely not for its food. In addition, due to unfortunate architectural design or construction requirements, half of the spectacular view from this place is blocked, so my wife and I request to order takeout so we can use the tables of the business next door where we ordered drinks. The store we got drinks from was very gracious and was cool with us bringing outside food to eat at their tables, which had a much better view and much much more comfortable seating. Owl’s Cutlet provided us with the exact opposite of the former store’s grace; they denied any and all requests to eat their food away from their tables. In hindsight, they might have wanted us to eat here so their empty restaurant looked busier to attract more visitors, didn’t work anyway. We only chose to eat here because pizza and a view seemed like a better choice than Cinnabon and a view, but avoid our mistake and get a snack from Cinnabon and enjoy the view.

Read moreI am a tourist and the attitude was cold. When I tried to order from the KIOSK, it turned out that in order to change the language, I still had to know Korean, because the confirmation button was in Korean. When I asked for help, the attitude was again annoying. I also felt bad because I am a solo tourist, and apparently people there like big groups. I ordered the 11,000 won cutlet, and it was the most terrible thing I have ever tried. Tasteless meat and very salty tomato sauce. There were only pickles and yellow radish as a side dish, the rest of the containers were empty. No one welcomes customers to the establishment and does not help with placing the order. You enter and start walking around and looking around. I tried to pay with a card, which did not go through. I had to pay cash. I handed over 50,000 won, and the employee took the money and without saying anything, just went somewhere. And again I stand and look around without any assistance or information. Finally he came with the change and didn't even say "Goodbye". I don't recommend it for solo tourists, and if you do go, bring cash in case your card...
Read moreI ordered the Owl's Original Pork Cutlet. The order was delivered by a robot on the table behind me, stopped and returned to the kitchen. After a while, ended up hand delivered by a person. Cutlet was so so, warm and a bit crispy. But I got 4 pieces of cold, pale and soggy fries. My order also came with cabbage salad drenched in dressing, and another lettuce salad in vinaigrette. The rice portion is what you get from an ice cream scoop. I do not...
