Korea inspired dessert omakase šø . . Korea to the table. I recently tried the new dessert course at Perlen in the heart of Yeonnam, and it was a delightful experience! This time, the Korean concept stood out, adding a unique touch to the course.
I highly recommend it to visitors curious about Korean herbs and ingredients (donāt miss out the perilla jelly at the end!) Among the courses, the Hanbok dessert particularly caught my attention. Its delightful appearance matched its taste, especially with the pistachio adding a lovely nutty flavour. Itās hard to pick a favourite from the selection, they were all so good! š©·

Made a reservation on catchable for Monday afternoon without realizing that itās their off day. BUT, they were nice enough to just open the space to host the two of us.
The desserts really live up to the theme of the course āKorea to the tableā where local ingredients are utilized and integrated into light, refreshing desserts. Really enjoyed the coffee and the traditional drinks too!

Especially, the Dutch coffee aged in an oak barrel was truly delicious. It was the first cafe I've encountered that I want to revisit, thanks to the subtle flavors and the harmony of taste and aroma pairing.
