Visited the joint based on good reviews.
No parking on the premises - need to use a public parking facility a block away. The parking facility is an old steel structure and narrow parking spaces.
The joint has 2 places for dining: the original small room with bar seating, and a second location downstairs that was more roomy.
There is usually a long line, but you can get in queue via smartphone.
The ramen was fine, but nothing to write home about. I’ve had worse and better. The crispy fried chicken was good.
The good thing is they provide unlimited free refills on the noodle and broth. I wasn’t hungry enough to get the noodle refill but for those with an appetite, this is a plus.
It’s a bit out of the way with inconvenient parking. I would only go back if I were walking by, hungry, and wanted ramen. If not, not a...
Read moreGreat ramen with chicken soup base ! However we waited for over an hour to eat. The taste of ramen didn’t make me regret the long wait. The side dishes, both chicken karaage and kimchi fried dumplings, were decent but not special. The buchu(?) kimchi was quite good. I added one more portion egg - 500 KRW.
I really liked their thin whole wheat based noodle. It didn’t get soggy until I finished eating. The soup was so clean but flavorful; I guess it’s coming from boiling for a long time..?
The chashu meat was so thick as if it’s a steak itself.
The squeezed yuju was great to add - made the overall taste of soup very tasty. i added after eating more than 50% so that I can enjoy both kinds.
I would love to visit again if it’s under...
Read moreA cozy ramen shop decorated with little figurines. It doesn’t have too much seating space, so get there early to avoid the crowd.
The broth of the shio yuzu ramen is a bit salty, but you can definitely taste the yuzu and it’s a nice little kick. The charsiu is slightly charred, super tender, and overall just delicious! Next time I’ll definitely opt for extra.
I recommend making space for the gyoza. It’s soft and panfried to perfection. You can help yourself to chive kimchi - it’s disappointingly sweet, but then again I’ve found that most kimchi in Korea is sweet so this level is probably...
