Tourist trap, avoid!! We came here during a tour and they offered us a drink and a tapa (included with the tour). Then we didn’t have much time so they proposed us the menu for lunch, which was fine and well organized. The thing that bothered me the most is that they started showing us how a typical Cochinillo dish would look like. So we ordered it and the actual one was something like half the amount: smaller piece of meat and much less fries. Of course, it was the only dish out of the menu and with the highest hidden cost of 30€. We tried artichokes as well, they were good but nothing special given the price. Also, they asked us if we wanted some bread, and we ended up paying 1,50€ per piece!!! Bread is commonly free in Spain. Overall very expensive and price was not justified by quality. Also the menu is full of “typical dish of Ávila” indications, a red flag for tourists traps. Positive note: very fast service, friendly waiters. But I felt betrayed and, given price and quality, I recommend choosing...

~ And now, in English. In the first place, it took more than half an hour to take an order on a fairly quiet night, continuing with a slow post-order service and accompanied by high prices. In the image that I will attach, I show the only thing we asked for and what they charged us for it, a table of Iberian products that were not very for there (with the quality of the sausages of the area), charge us € 3 for Coca-Cola, 3 € per beer, € 5.50 for a very poor flan (adding € 0.50 if you add cream), € 11 for 7 croquettes, bread harder than the sole of an old shoe € 1.30 per unit, 1/2 of € 2 water, in short a scam. Ávila is a wonderful city with great establishments to eat tablecloths, tapas and have a good time, but this establishment does not meet these requirements, literally, you can eat in a palace for much less in the same city. No tranquility, since it is in one of the main streets where all the traffic passes (it is true that it has good views of the walls). A bad experience in one of the typical "tourist-catching"...

Nice restaurant at a nice place. Waiters were very nice. I ordered an octopus with mashed potatoes and it was amazing. Unfortunately the prawn meal was a bit over-salted and extremely small. You basically pay ~1 Euro per prawn. The prawns were SO DROWNED in oil, I'm surprised America hasn't invaded yet. If there was no oil, the meal would've probably cost 1/2 of the current price. Oh, have I mentioned the soup with yolk was AMAZING? It was the best soup I have eaten in the last year. You definitely MUST ORDER IT. Overall, the drinks and the food was very tasty! I would recommend dining here (but don't buy...

We came to this restaurant as part of our tour to get our free egg tapa and it was not bad. Since it was a holiday and not a lot.pf things were opened, we decided to order more food to make sure we got something to eat. Keep in mind that during the holidays it gets pretty busy and there would be a delay on getting food. We ordered the meal of the day, grilled chicken and beef meal. Our grilled items were tasty and they did hit the spot. The fries were not crispy but I was the only one in my party that did not mind. Overall, a good balanced meal but be aware and prepared to wait for busy days or holidays.
