Ganges Tandoori, La Caleta — Restaurant in Adeje

As an Indian (half Hyderabadi, to be exact), I had low expectations after a week in Tenerife where the food, while fresh, just isn’t known for spice or bold flavor. My husband and I were craving something authentic, spicy, and full of depth—and Ganges absolutely delivered.

From the moment we walked in, we were warmly welcomed and instantly felt at home. We ordered several dishes and asked for them to be made Indian spicy, and they didn’t hesitate. Everything—from the chicken tikka jalfrezi to the lamb byrani—was rich, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The garlic naan was soft with just the right amount of char, and the biryani reminded me of home.

This is hands-down the best Indian food we’ve had in Tenerife (and honestly, some of the best I’ve had outside India). If you’re Indian or just love authentic Indian food, this is where you want to go. We left full, happy, and honestly, in a bit of a spice-fueled...

Every meal we had was absolutely delicious, full of flavour, and freshly made. The staff were so friendly and welcoming, and the service was excellent each time. All I can say is this is probably the best Indian meal I have ever eaten!

The staff are so helpful, friendly and polite. The atmosphere is just lovely, you feel at ease and are not rushed in any way.

Obviously the main reason going to a restaurant is the food and the food was exceptional. Every course was cooked to perfection and full of flavour. Like I said above probably the best Indian meal I've ever eaten! Anyone coming to Tenerife I can't recommend this place...
