Amazing JAPANESE Restaurant, HIDDEN GASTRO GEM right in La Caleta.

Masterfully crafted sushi with a special twist, charming fine-dining restaurant, featuring top-quality ingredients. An absolute refined delicacy, that’s the best way to describe this restaurant. This being our fifth visit to Tivoli La Caleta, i I am confident in throwing these compliments.

As someone who is used to eating sushi on a regular basis because of the pure delight it brings, it is safe to say that the pieces on the menu here are little magic tricks on their own. The flavours melt on your tongue in the best way possible, leaving you more satisfied to say the least.

Japanese cuisine at its best, what a great experience, excellent is an understatement. I came here for my 5oth birthday and it was a memorable experience. The staff and their attention to detail is flattering - shoutout to the servers, sushi chefs and its kind and accomodating hostess, who made our evening even more special. The food is divine, incredibly creative, tasty and beautiful.

Food was excellent, superb. Super fresh fish, tasty, some of the best sushi I have ever had along in a long time. High-quality dishes, beautifully presented, an amazing assortment of choices, a magnificent cocktail menu (Yakuza Gunkan Selection is a masterpiece, do not miss their Nigiri Eeel and foie gras / Nigiri scallop / Nigiri Scarlet Shrimp/ Nigiri Truffled Wagyu). All the rolls and gyozas are uniquely handcrafted, and that spicy tuna bite, as well as their crispy Udon Noodles.... We also did ask for their colorful sushi combos, do not miss them, delicious and they came with dry ice, putting on a great show!. Ask for their hand made desserts assortment (cheesecake with yuzu, fresh raspberries and black sesame, yummy!

Kudos to Carlos, the super kind host that welcomed us and showcased that superb, precious gem of restaurant. Attaboy, Jose, for your service and kind attention.

Overall, what an awesome fine dining spot, brand new, great vibes. Long live and my best wishes for the future, Yakuza Tenerife Squad. So Worth the Hype, to be honest. Would go back in...

HEAVEN ON EARTH, Best Japanese Restaurant in La Caleta, hands down.

I consider the best thing anyone can do when thinking about booking a table here is to read the Reviews on various sites and, apart from the very odd exception, they are 100% correct.

An absolute MUST when we are in South Tenerife for great food, classy atmosphere and a very good time! Yakuza is an excellent Asian fusion High-class Restaurant right inside Tivoli La Caleta, new luxury hotel brand in the island.

Where to begin? The whole experience at Yakuza Tenerife, from start to finish, was a memorable one. From entering, we were greeted by a charming hostess and shown to our table, and given a little stool for my handbag. Our waiter introduced himself, and was kind, patient and attentive, not overly so. We had ordered two rounds of sushi, and some hot bites (its melt-in-your-mouth King Crab Leg, cooked to perfection, is absolutely glorious).

Each item on each of the sushi plates was displayed artistically which didn't take away from the flavours which of course were all delicious, to the point I can't choose a favourite (maybe the Nigiri Toro&Caviar, maybe the Nigiri Carabineer, maybe the Gunkan Truffled, maybe the Nigiri Eel & Foie Gras, maybe its yummy King Crab Leg, mabye the mouthwatering Wagyu Picanha...)

Our waiter and waitress explained all the various types of sushi, recommended which to save until the last bite and again, really took their time to ensure we were happy. And as usual, it is not just about the food but all the involved senses. All of them five utterly fascinated.

Our servers, Daniel, Carlos and Claire, were excellent - all of them professional, detail-oriented, and personable. And kudos to all the chefs behind the Sushi Bar. Highly recommend!

All in all a lovely experience, quite different from the hustle and bustle of most of the other restaurants nearby. Quite an uplifting experience, inspiring moment to share, easily the culinary highlight of...

We chose this restaurant to celebrate my wife’s birthday. The food and presentation were excellent. However, we encountered a few issues that impacted our overall experience.

First, we selected this restaurant because we received a €25 discount code from TheFork app. We booked through the app and, upon arrival, showed our reservation to the hostess, who confirmed that everything was correct and that the discount would be applied. However, this was not reflected in the final bill.

Second, we were only offered the €90 per person tasting menu, without being informed of the €60 per person option. I overheard the hostess telling her supervisor in spanish (empujar) that she had tried to promote the more expensive menu, but the clients specifically requested the cheaper option.

Third, after we finished our meal, the hostess added an extra €12 charge for dessert, even though dessert was already included in the tasting menu.

Additionally, a 5% tip was automatically included in the bill. While it was labeled as a "suggested tip," it was placed directly next to the total, making it appear obligatory. It would be more transparent if customers were given the option to choose the amount themselves.

Lastly, despite mentioning to the waiter that it was my wife’s birthday, no complimentary cake or candle was offered, as is customary in many upscale restaurants.
