Been there twice, and I have to say the experiences were quite different.
The first visit was amazing. The garlic king prawns were huge, firm but still tender, and the seafood spaghetti was generous. It was packed with fresh prawns, mussels, clams, and fish cubes and the tomato sauce really brought everything together.
However, the second visit was quite disappointing. The seafood soup was still nice, but the oyster was mediocre. The crispy prawns, although more expensive than the garlic ones I had earlier, included some unfresh and mushy ones. The salmon tagliatelle was mediocre, and the steak tagliatelle was overcooked.
The outdoor seating was also a letdown. We were surrounded by flies and could barely enjoy our food. Also some huge cockroaches were spotted during dinner time.
Also when we mentioned that we’d like to pay by cash, they completely ignored us and we have to change to...
Read moreDined together with my girlfriend on the 4th of July 2024, we had the Seabass & Mixed meat grill as our mains.
The meat was chewy and tasted blant as if it was frozen. This however was not the worst, as I got a fun surprise when half of the steak from the mix grill tasted suspicious and off, like methane or feces, as if it had gone bad. The Seabass was ok, the portion however, from the fish and sides were to small for the price. Fries weren’t made with fresh oil and tasted blant.
Staff wasn’t particularly friendly, food was thrown on the table and our waiter did not bother to make eye contact or acknowledge us.
It’s a shame as the atmosphere is quite nice, a small restaurant in a relatively quiet environment. Even with that though, I won’t come back here and suggest you fill your...
Read moreHad an outside reservation for 5 on a Friday after drinks and live music at a local beach bar. I cannot understand how this restaurant gets such good reviews. I had the bass Bilboa which was a "special". It was overcooked and tasteless. My wife got the pasta mama Mia, barely edible. Mixed grill ordered by another of our party-disappointing. Steak with 3 peppers-fair. Grilled salmon was judged good but salmon isn't even native to Canaries. We were so underwhelmed with the food that we decided to have dessert and coffee elsewhere. I have to comment on the staff suggesting additions to our dinner. From overpriced and poor quality wines to the ridiculously overpriced garlic bread. If this is the best food in Adeje I feel bad for anyone...
