La Hacienda — Restaurant in Adeje

This restaurant looks lovely, beautiful outlook. Perfect place to have an evening meal. How wrong could you be. We hadn’t booked but we’re told we could get a table in around 25 minutes, we went and sat in the bar adjoining to the restaurant and waited to order a drink. After 20 mins a waiter came over and said no need to order here, as it will be quicker to wait until your table is ready and order your a drink there! So wait another 10mins been shown to our table. Finally we got to our table, where we were offered water and waited another 20 minutes to order our drinks and meal. Starters came before the wine. Had to reminded one of the waiters about the wine. Mains came, very a below average. Questioned one of the waiters regarding the wine that given, as we didn’t think it was to bottle that we had originally order. Only to be told it was our fault, because when we reminded him about the wine, we requested two glasses wine, therefore we automatically got the house wine and because we had drank half the glass he can’t see the problem. After eat a pitiful amount of mains, we requested the bill and there was the wine we never received and also the two glasses wines that they had wrongly given us. The waiter did then half apologise but still reiterated the mix up was because we asked for two glasses with our bottle of wine 🤦🏽‍♀️. Overall there seems to be a lot of waiting staff running around but not actually doing anything. Service is shocking, waiting times for drinks is a joke and the food is overpriced and well...

AVOID. just Avoid. Whilst dining we noticed a table where a diner found something unexpected in her food. 2 waiters were alerted to inspect it before a more senior person took it back to the kitchen, passing us with a revolted look on her face. Look carefully in your food if you eat there. Service was really slow, Tenderloin "on fire" was presented as a blob of flammable jelly on the plate which the waiter then lighted in front of me with his cigarette lighter. The bottle of Cava we wanted wasn't available so I asked a waiter for his recommendation - which turned up to be a low alcohol bottle, tasted like sparkling strawberry juice! Nothing to say this it was low-alcohol on the wine list...its actually a 5euro bottle they sell to you for 25euro so don't ask for their wine recommendations, it also arrived after we had finished our starter, when it was the first thing we ordered within 5 minutes of sitting down (it was about 1hr after we had arrived by then). There followed an unpleasant experience with the waiter when we complained. Take head of the other bad reviews here, this place is an example of low quality hospitality that will ruin your holiday. Sconsiglio vivamente per chi vuole mangiare bene . Qualità dei prodotti cucinati scadenti, Gamberi all'aglio senza sapore, senza consistenza la carne si sbriciolava già prendendola con la forchetta, in bocca si scioglieva come fosse farinosa. Una qualità cosi scadente di gamberi non l'ho trovata nemmeno nei peggiori supermercati !! che delusione. Il costo del piatto rapportato alla qualità del prodotto non proporzionabile, merluzzi e aringhe si rifiuterebbero di mangiare questi gamberetti. Tartare di Tonno !!!! una vera sberla per il palato. Cubettoni di Tonno e Avocado ( proporzione 10 cubettoni di Tonno e 100 di Avocado ) coperti con una salsa non identificabile acetosa che copriva completamente il sapore del Tonno, quindi non si capiva la freschezza.

Ich rate dringend davon ab für diejenigen, die gut essen wollen. Schlechte Qualität der gekochten Produkte, Knoblauchgarnelen ohne Geschmack, ohne Konsistenz, das Fleisch zerbröckelte bereits mit einer Gabel, schmolz im Mund, als wäre es mehlig. Ich habe selbst in den schlechtesten Supermärkten keine so schlechte Garnelenqualität gefunden !! Was für eine Enttäuschung. Die Kosten des Gerichts im Vergleich zur Qualität des Produkts stehen nicht im Verhältnis, Kabeljau und Hering würden sich weigern, diese Garnelen zu essen. Thunfisch-Tartar !!!! ein echter Schlag für den Gaumen. Thunfisch- und Avocadowürfel (10 Thunfischwürfel und 100 Avocadowürfel), bedeckt mit einer nicht identifizierbaren Sauerampfersauce, die den Geschmack des Thunfischs vollständig überdeckt, sodass Sie die Frische nicht verstehen konnten.

Ik raad het ten zeerste af voor degenen die goed willen eten. Slechte kwaliteit van gekookte producten, knoflookgarnalen zonder smaak, zonder consistentie het vlees verkruimelde het al met een vork, smolt in de mond alsof het meel was. Ik heb nog nooit zo'n slechte kwaliteit garnalen gevonden, zelfs niet in de slechtste supermarkten! ! wat een teleurstelling. De kostprijs van het gerecht in vergelijking met de kwaliteit van het product is niet proportioneel, kabeljauw en haring zouden deze garnalen niet willen eten. Tonijn tartaar !!!! een echte klap voor het gehemelte. Tonijn- en avocadoblokjes (10 blokjes tonijn en 100 avocado's) bedekt met een niet-identificeerbare zuringsaus die de smaak van de tonijn volledig bedekte, dus je kon de versheid niet begrijpen.

I strongly advise against it for those who want to eat well. Poor quality of cooked products, garlic prawns without flavor, without consistency the meat crumbled already taking it with a fork, melted in the mouth as if it were floury. I have not found such a poor quality of prawns even in the worst supermarkets !! what a disappointment. The cost of the dish compared to the quality of the product is not proportional, cod and herring would refuse to eat these shrimps. Tuna tartare !!!! a real slap for the palate. Tuna and Avocado Cubes (10 cubes of Tuna and 100 of Avocado) covered with an unidentifiable sorrel sauce that completely covered the flavor of the Tuna, so you couldn't understand...
