Do not go there!
Usually I never write a review but now I feel I have to. We have been there today and the portion was very little for all of us - even for the ladies, so at the end we remained hungry.
When I payed I just mentioned this to the waiter as a constructive critic(bald guy with glasses) and as a reaction he raised his voice and he told us that if we want to be full why we didnt order garlic bread or salad as extra. I ordered the most expensive option from the menu ( fillet steak) - so seems people need to order bread as extra if they dont want to stay hungry.
Raising his voice to a customer after complaining to the portion is not the best approach especially as this place has no view, and nothing extra to offer. Garlic bread was fantastic. Prawns in garlic oil were beautiful and came out sizzling! The fish of the day which was the sea bass was cooked to perfection, so tasty. The simple food is done incredibly well and offered at a great price, making it a fantastic value.
The place is run by a friendly family of amazing Cubans who have been there for 30 years, adding a rich history and warmth to the experience.
The atmosphere is welcoming to all, attracting a range of people from locals to tourists.
The staff spoke great English, which made ordering easy, and there were plenty of options to choose from on the menu.
