I have so much I can say about this wee hidden gem tucked under el Beril. A big hearted Scottish welcome by new owners Barry and Shona awaits you first and believe me you would return for this alone. However it serves much more than that.
Firstly what better way to start the days sunbathing by having a full Scottish breakfast with black pudding and a tattie scone. Delicious! with one of the best cup of tea I have had on the island. There is of course other dishes to choose from for breakfast however this was great for the 4 of us.
Lunchtime did not disappoint either with a southern fried chicken wrap with cheese and Shona's addition of sweet chilli sauce certainly added a kick. The others delighted with the tuna wrap.
It's that good we returned and headed there for dinner. Believe me there is an evening menu that would tantalise anyones tastebuds. We fancied a curry but it wasn't on the menu. A quick chat with Baz and up pops a freshly prepared chicken tikka masala boiled rice and chips.the smell all drifting from the kitchen was a great advert for this wee gem alone however the taste of the curry and the portion was just excellent. All of these were of course washed down by some cold beers.
In all folks you would be foolish to pass up on this great Scottish welcome fine foods and an array of drinks wthat are available from this wee hidden...

The place looked a bit like a sports bar and I didn't expect such a high end dish. It was tasty and healthy, done perfectly. My bf got fish and chips, that's a totally different dish type, but he said it was proper fish and chips. The fish was big and the fries seemed to be self made. The peas were also perfect, not mushy. They must have a very good cook. For me the dishes were a bit on the not too salty side but extra salt fixed it. Better than the...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWhat a Little gem this place is. Run by the nicest people with some of the best food. Couldnāt fault our family meal. Thank you so much for having us and giving us some great memories! Steak pie was my fav but also had the chilli, beef curry and fish and chips. Couldnāt fault it one bit. The only downside is itās such a small place so you may struggle to get a table but it must have been our lucky night as they managed to squeeze my family of 6 in. Also one of the cheapest meals we had the whole holiday. Thanks again for such an amazing night and will definitely be back on our next holiday....
