I am not inclined to give it one star because I truly believe the place has potential. We assumed that the line implied high demand in quality, but unfortunately there is a mismatch.

First and foremost, send the dishes together, or not at all.

Canary potatoes are NOT just boiled potatoes and salt. They (should) include some sauces as well.

Skip the mixed seafood platter. Overpriced for just shrimps and shells. Tasty, but get only if you're not famished and you want a taste of the sea and not a meal.

The staff is probably overworked and underpaid. I get it, they probably have disdain for the customers, but at least they should make a modicum of effort to show that they don't want to throw them out.

It was honestly a depressing...

Its nice that its by the seafronts, get nice cold gusts of wind. All staff have some english. Food is okay for the price, quite cheap. Last time we visited had to wait a good while until someone came up to us. Portion size is good. Went there 2 days in a row as we wanted to try some little shrimp but they had none. Squid was okay, but found a piece of hair and waitress tried to deny that its a hair, she brought the plate away and still had to pay the full price. Both times we visited there left good tips even with the hair inconvenience. Recommend this place just always have a good look around so theres no hair...

Popular spot with my local friends and lucky to find a table as it was near capacity at 3.30pm when we rocked up, famished after exploring Teide.

Plates of freshly caught shrimp, followed by grilled mussels hit the spot. We wrapped it up with grilled wreckfish and several plates of fries which were crisp and not greasy.

Service was OK, but the baby squid order never appeared. As said, it's a busy place. Good value and plenty of food for the three of us.

The restaurant is located right by the sea, and we worked off the delicious food walking around the seafront.

I'd go...

No volveremos.
