Superb anniversary meal last night at Salitre. They must pay attention to the booking notes, gave us an amazing secluded table for our special day. Andrea was our server and recommended a lovely white wine we would not have chosen on our own. We also were unexpectedly gifted some bubbles at the start of the meal. We had the tuna tartare (really big portion, well balanced with a kick of spice) and croquettes (light and crispy but rich and luxurious- how do they do it?!?) to start, then the local fish and the turbot for mains. Of course we had to order the Spanish potatoes because we have grown to love it here in Tenerife. To finish was the chocolate lava cake (not sure exact name but it was really quality chocolate) and a busker came by with an accordion and played music to the sea of waves crashing in the background. It was very memorable. A must in la Caleta!

If you love seafood, you'll love this restaurant! Perched on the Passeo Maritimo at La Caleta looking over the cove it's a great place to eat at anytime. We had dinner there on a windy evening and sat outside. The staff are friendly and welcoming. It's very popular so do book and expect service to be a little slow as everything is prepared to order. The king prawns in garlic were some of the best we've had anywhere in Spain! We both had the Bream for main and it was meaty and delicious. Wines were not overpriced and good. There is a large interior and on a blowy night try and get a table inside despite the patio heaters it can be cool outside (in March). A great, sensibly priced, well positioned restaurant with tasty seafood and friendly staff.

We booked ahead, travelling from London, for our first Saturday night. This seafront restaurant is simply exceptional. It was my wife's birthday, and I had requested a sea view table, which was ready and waiting when we arrived. The staff including our main waiter Michael were first class, and made us feel very welcome, even providing a complimentary drink of Cava. As you can see from the pictures the Gambas Pil Pil, Calamari that we had for starters looked fantastic and tasted amazing. But the absolute top dish was our main course Paella (Caldoso De Caribineros)with Langustines, clams, mussels and the giant red prawns - a delicacy. If you are in the Caleta / Adeje area this is an absolute must go to place. First class and we will be back!

OMG Is all I can sayy to describe this place. LEO THE MANGER IS THE BEST. He went out his way to make sure all his tables where well fed and happy. The food and wine here are to die for. The flavors that the food had was so mouthwatering that I wanted to lick the plate. I had a amazing time tonight with no regret from start to finish. If your in town this is the place to be. They have everything you need to leave with a full belly and a happy smile. I kept drinking the delicious wine that I had to take a couple bottles to go. You won't regret goomg this place . Thankyou guys so much. Out of all the places I visited this week you have won the #1 spot. I will definitely visit again next time I'm in town.

Gorgeous restaurant with best views as sun goes down. We had to change both timings and table but nothing is a problem to the team here and they looked after us so well. Service is excellent. We ordered gazpacho and fish croquettes to start and we polished those off with a delicious cava. Weirdly they only had Perrier sparkling water which is not needed by them or us! For mains we shared the dry rice dish with sea food mix of mussels, Atlantic sea bass, calamari and prawns- delicious. We were full and dessert was not an option but the choices were tempting. The digestif ‘on the house’ was a lovely end to our evening BUT we will be back and thank you as super evening

Ate here three nights out of six which says it all really! Comfortably the best restaurant in the area - we tried two others and you’ll find my reviews on them. Food at Salitre is excellent - spicy tuna cubes best starter, paella is excellent, sea bass also brilliant and pork cheeks too. Canarian potatoes also phenomenal. Wine list is good without too much mark up at the top end - Lapola Albariño particularly good. Fantastic views as well - gorgeous table for 2 each time enjoying the sunset. Final word for Leo (and others!) - service was absolutely fabulous every, single time. So friendly and at the same time slick - incredibly impressive.
