El Toro advertises all over the city with 'Steakhouse' and 'playground for children'. They just dont live up to any of it, that much.
The place is all over a little dirty and smushy, and not that cosy. The children playground is old and dirty, and we had to clean some of the things with a napkin cause it was sticky.
I ordered the flamed chateaubriand with bearnaise - The waitor asked, and I ordered it Medium. I'm not a chef, but anyone with just a small amount of experience with cooking meat (remember, it's a Steakhouse), could press on the meat with a finger and tell that it was raw! I cut it open, and yup, it was very rare inside. I complained and got it back, but it's just not the same. The bearnaise was bland, but the flamed sauce with the meat was excellent though!
My wife ordered Pork Tenderloin with peppersauce. And although the sauce was good and tasted of pepper, and the meat tasted well also, it sure wasn't Tenderloin. Were not sure what it was, although it was pork.
I really cant recommend this place, until the staff and chef starts...

The dish had no soul and had an apathetic look. And regarding the group i was lucky, 4 of the dishes were either mixed up, or forgotten. Multiple in the group found the chicken dry, and the dishes with bones didn't host much meat. And yes we were alot of people in the resteurant, the kitchen staff could have done a better job regarding the making of the food. Even though we got multiple bad impressions, one possitive was the atmosphere. And the dining hall had an intimate feeling. Perhaps on a day day with fewer people this resteurant shines. But when you are loocated on a tourist area you need to tolerate multiple customers at the time, and...
Read moreThe food was almost acceptable, but the service was poor. Especially from the manager. Long waiting for ordered ice cream that never came. My family eventually went home to the hotel and I had to wait another 15 minutes to get to pay the bill. Refused pay full price, which was met with great arrogance from mr. and mrs. manager. They eventually offered ice cream the next day, but we will never visit this...
