Sa Caseta — Restaurant in Alcúdia

Worst experience possible. Long story short, stay away, they do not deserve more customers.

Should’ve trusted the other reviews. We sat at a table, used the QR code to check the menu and in less than 1 minute the waiter came to get our order. We were of course not ready so for the next 10 minutes totally ignored us and when we finally got his attention he only took our drinks order and wouldn’t take the food one. Came back later, got the rest of the order. Food came (was actually very good, had 2 pizzas and carbonara), and around 15 mins later we asked for another beer. 15 minutes later beer never came, we asked for the bill and asked for it not to be included as we had to leave asap. The waiter said it’s not his problem that the beer didn’t come and was very annoyed at us saying he’s managing the whole terrace on his own. We mentioned it’s not our fault either and don’t wish to pay for something we didn’t receive. When he brought the bill we checked the prices and one of the pizza price was higher than the menu in the QR link. We then payed based on the menu price and told him the bill was wrong. He showed us this paper menu he had which was never given to us that had higher prices on. Again, not out fault that menu was never given to us and the QR link prices are wrong. We were told to use the QR link. So he then proceed to say we need to pay the high price, then threw a 2€ coin at us as if we were beggars and mumble something at us.

Extremely disrespectful and bad experience, as much as we enjoyed the food, I would not go back there to be...

I had the BEST meal of our whole vacation here. The servers where joyful and extremely serviced minded. We enjoyed the Pinsa with burrata and Serrano, pasta carbonara and mushroom tagliatelle.

Pinsa: WOW. The dough where incredible, perfectly cooked, light and slightly crunchy. Fresh ingredients, simply burrata and serrano with olive oil. Pasta carbonara: creamy and nice chunks of pancetta. This was just like in Italy. Mushroom tagliatelle: my partner absolutely loved this one, deep flavours of mushroom, perfectly cooked al dente. Fresh herbs.

You can easily tell that this is the best of the Italian kitchen of Italian people.

Please, if you go to Alcúdia Old Town, pay this restaurant a visit, atmosphere where phenomenal, a little square piazza, behind all the tourist traps in the Main Street. Highly recommended by a...

We wanted to eat here with our children on 26.07.2022. But the arrogant waitress would not serve us! Reason: It was 36 degrees hot and because our place would have been in the sun in the next quarter of an hour, we wanted to change to a table in the shade, which had just become free. This did not suit the waitress, although not much was going on. She then cleared other tables rather than take our order. A young couple sat down one table further, there she immediately took the order. When we said to her that we were done, she gave us a nasty look and said that we would have to wait. That's when we got up and left. One corner over, we enjoyed our meal at a nice osteria. This restaurant should be avoided! To the young lady I recommend...
