Horrible service, the thin waitress with curly hair was rude and snappy with my friend because she has many allergies and can only eat plain food, snapped at her because she asked if she was able to order from kids menu, argumentative because she said she can’t eat anything there other then fries or plain pasta, ignored me when i ordered Food off the menu so she could continue to be rude to my friend and seemed upset with her order- eventhough she explained why she can’t eat anything else and was happy to only eat the fries- and then never checked up on us after bringing food- we even asked for bread and got none, we asked for a menu to pick desert and she never came with it and avoided us, she made us extremely uncomfortable and honestly was shocking, eventhough she was chatting to every other table happily, we had to get another waiter to get one for us (he was actually very nice so it’s a shame we didn’t have him in the first place). They then started rearranging the tables around us and MOVED OUR TABLE WHILE WE WERE STILL SAT AT IT! we didn’t even have a choice eventhough we were ready to pay our bill- food was okay but the service means will never...
Read moreWonderful from top to bottom! I arrived and was able to make a reservation for that night in a half an hour, since the place was packed. It seems like they are often fully booked though, so if your hearts set on it I recommend calling ahead. They had a table waiting for me when I arrived back after some window shopping close by and really made me feel at home. I had their tapas deal, but split in half (so 3 instead of 6) and it was more than enough, especially considering the delicious Pa Amb Oli that came with the deal. I had the mussels, stuffed pepper, and bacalao, which were all fantastic, with the stuffed pepper being my personal favorite. I was so happy with the quality of the food and service I stayed for dessert, which was worth it! The Crema Catalan was delightful and a perfect finale to an already stellar meal. My thanks to the whole staff there for such a...
Read moreI write this review on my journey back from this incredible and welcoming restaurant. My partner and I visited Alcudia, whilst staying at Can Picafort and stumbled upon Sa Portassa by chance, and we are so glad that we did. The restaurant was very popular and we were lucky to get a seat outdoors in the beautiful lane where the restaurant is situated. The waiters and waitresses were very accommodating and friendly, and the food was spectacular. We ordered the 6x tapas plates for €26 Euros which also came with a generous amount of bread (which we ended up ordering more of because it was that good) as well as more of the Iberian Ham Croquettes which for us stole the show. Overall we had the most amazing evening, the white house wine was also very lovely. Overall, we would recommend this lovely little place to anyone visiting Alcudia old town, but I’d say certainly...
