This review is for the restaurant. I didn't realize that it was also a hotel. The restaurant is gorgeous on the inside, though the women's restroom was sort of smelly. Otherwise, they did a great job aesthetically. We chose to sit outside, though because it was a gorgeous day and it was in this really cute square. I enjoyed the small amount of bustling that the square provided. We were practically the only ones at this restaurant, though the one next door was busier. The service was great, and the server was kind. We ordered a bunch of different beverages... still water, sparking water, fresh squeezed orange juice, a beer, and an espresso. My friend also ordered a dessert, that I can't remember what it was but it was chocolate cake maybe? She said that it was amazing. I mixed the OJ and sparkling water, which was DELICIOUS. And the espresso was pretty good. All in all, I definitely would...

Something truly special. Can Polit is located in the heart of the historic town of Alcúdia and offers excellent cuisine along with top-quality desserts – don’t miss the almond cake or the carrot cake.

But what really sets this place apart is the service.

I’m not exaggerating when I say it’s the best I’ve ever experienced. The whole team is in a good mood, they clearly work well together, and everything runs smoothly.

If I had to name just one person, it would be Kiko (I hope I’m spelling the name right) – thanks to him alone, we came back to this restaurant several times over the past few months. We often saw guests shake his hand and personally thank him as they were leaving – something I honestly don’t see very often.

We felt genuinely welcome and appreciated as guests. Thank you for everything – we’ll...

Food was mediocre for the price and description (fresh local ingredients blah blah). The patatas bravas were really mushy and had fries hidden between the potatoes. I ordered a dish marked as vegetarian and got something with fish. We got aioli with bread for free after I explained that vegetarians don't eat fish, but the waiter was really unfriendly afterwards. For a bottle of cider you get a glass with a plastic straw inside, because there is not enough trash in this world. We were attacked by moskitos and since every other table had a citronella candle, I asked for one too, but all we got was the story that there are a lot of moskitos around (duh) and nobody knows why. Thankfully the people next to us heard us and gave us theirs as they left.

There was a cat though. Stars for that. Made...

This restaurant in the city center of Alcudia turned out to be quite disappointing. The food didn't live up to our expectations; for instance, the meatballs we ordered tasted as if they were made days ago, and even a classic dish like fish and chips was a disaster - the fish was undercooked and raw inside. To make matters worse, the sangria we ordered had not-so-fresh strawberries. It's a shame that they couldn't provide better service and fresher food. We explored multiple dining options in the vicinity, and this was by far the most unsatisfactory experience we've had. If you're in search of amazing food, I would recommend trying Can Puynetes by the seaside. You won't be let down – it's unfortunate that they were closed on the day of our visit.
