We’ve just had a very bad experience with this restaurant. The food and the welcome were ok but the staff is inexperienced and above all the restaurant is not at all commercial. Our waitress spilt a freshly served coffee (very hot!) on me (see photo). The waitress apologized, she was looking quickly for another coffee, but nobody came to help us clean the table, my shorts, tee-shirt and my arms. It’s our next table neighbors that gave us their towels to wipe the mess. Someone from the service just came to offer us a “magic cleaning product” to try cleaning it.

That was us (!!) who asked the waitress to bring back clean napkins for our (charming) neighbors.

That’s life, no significant problem on my body but a (designer) t-shirt needs a dry cleaner service. When we asked for the bill, we expected at the very least a commercial gesture. To our surprise, the bill was complete. When the person came to collect, we pointed out to her that the least he could have done would have been to offer us something or to pay for the dry cleaning costs. The person couldn't do anything, and above all didn't decide to go and check with the restaurant management for any kind of gesture. She simply cashed us by apologizing again for the incident.

Naturally, we paid the full bill and thanked our neighbors, who were also shocked by this unprofessional, non-commercial and, above all, rude attitude. We have had similar incidents in the past in Spain, Italy or US and naturally the restaurant management offered us up to the full dinner (even though this is not what we were asking for this evening).

We have contacted the restaurant management to inform them of this comment on Google and of this incident in the expectation of a subsequent commercial gesture as we are leaving...

We visited Alcudia for the day to explore the market and enjoy a spot of lunch. We came across a stylish bistro that looked clean and had a mouth-watering menu, so we decided to give it a try. The weather was nice, so we opted to sit outside.

While waiting for our food, the heavens opened (we visited in May). Despite having cover, the rain beat its way under the canopy. People on the street rushed for shelter, forming queues outside every restaurant—including the one we had chosen! Unfortunately, there wasn’t space for the sudden influx of customers as the restaurant was full.

At that point, we thought we’d have to ride out the wind and rain while enjoying our humble paella. Little did we know, the restaurant staff were rearranging furniture to make space for us inside. Soon, we were invited indoors—and boy, were we grateful! They seated us at a lovely spot at the back of the restaurant, setting the stage for one of the best paellas we’ve ever had.

The dish, which I believe was called the “Gourmet Ireland Paella,” came topped with a perfectly seared steak. The steak was served rare, so if you have a preference, it’s best to mention it when ordering. Our three-year-old daughter loved it just as much as we did! The paella was packed with flavor, and the rice was cooked to perfection.

We followed this up with a chocolate sponge and a strawberry cheesecake—both served with a scoop of rich toffee ice cream, which complemented the chocolate pudding wonderfully.

On the whole, the service was excellent, and the food was top-tier. It was the perfect way to wrap up our holiday, even with the unexpected afternoon rain!

So, what are you waiting for? Go in, take a seat, you won’t be...

The water and the beer were the best things we had at this place. We are not joking! We appreciate that we were giving a table on a busy summer Friday night without a reservation. The place is nice and simple, with a cute open air patio in the back of the restaurant. We ordered: - Chicken fingers (undercooked) - Patatas Bravas (undercooked - soggy) - Bread with vegetables (no flavor and too much oil) - Salad (was Ok - too many onions) The manager or owner took the chicken fingers off our check as he can see that we didn’t even eat half of them. It was the right thing to do. That’s why we give it 2 stars. We ate as much as we could as we were very hungry after a long day playing at the beach all day. We left the restaurant disappointed and still hungry.
