Muddy's Wood Fired Grill — Restaurant in Alcúdia

First of all, the steak was good, and I was thankful that I got a table without having a reservation (that is why I gave a 2-star rating). The rest was a disaster. They told me that I could only have a table for 1 hour since the table was reserved one hour later. That was totally fine for me, so I agreed and told them that I would not be the bottleneck. However, it took them 37 minutes to get me the starters, and they brought the main course and starter at the same time, so I had to send the main course back 😂 The "Buffalo" wings were not Buffalo wings at all, just some wings with a random, slightly spiced-up salsa. Before that, they put my wings on the table next to me, and when they realized it, they took it from there and gave it to me 🙃 The carpaccio was bland and still too cold.

Then, after 10 more minutes, I received my filet mignon, but this time with the wrong side dish (baked potatoes; I had ordered mashed potatoes and did receive them correctly the first time). Since I did not want to stay hungry even longer, I did not bring it up. The steak was good, very tender, and just slightly undercooked (I had ordered medium-rare, but the core was rather "rare," which is still fine for me personally). Of course, I had not been given a knife and fork to eat it, so it took another 2 minutes to get the attention of a waiter. By then, the 60 minutes were already slightly over. The main waiter told me then that I could eat slowly and enjoy my meal from then on (which I appreciated). However, I had to ask twice to get the check, and I could not leave...

Our family ordered a table with high expectations. The vibe is very American, open kitchen, smell of wood fire, music and chit chatting. Staff was very friendly and observant. Our table ordered a little of everything, burgers, tortillas and ribs, to my understanding everyone was happy with the dishes. And then we ordered steaks, one new york and two filet steak. First of all the meat was very high quality, the fries and veggies were nice. Unfortunately the chefs were not able to grill them to desired temperatures, my steak went too the kitchen 3 times, and ended up being over cooked, the 2 filet steaks went back twice.

The kitchen ended up making me a completely new steak which I ended up accepting as I was hungry and most of our party were completing their main courses.

Big cudos to the waitress and waiter for our table, they did everything they could to fix our complaints. We ended up being compensated fairly for the chefs not being able to deliver, and a big apology.

I fully understand that mistakes can happen, and the staff here ran around the clock trying to fix it and making sure we had a good experience nether the less. Thumps up for...

I’m totally disappointed with this place! I’ve booked a table based on the reviews here. Unfortunately, it is substandard. I’ve ordered a medium rare ribeye steak and received an overdone steak. It is a shame to do this with such a good piece of meat! They have two different types of fries on their menu. Before order, I’ve asked the waiter to explain the difference, which was already a bad experience since the waiter showed little to no patience or will to clarify. Then I ordered the fries that were supposed to be more liked wedges. What I received were very thin and dry fries. The sauce (mushroom) was bad too. Just tasted bad! My wife ordered the traditional (as stated in their menu) Cod tempura. This was bad too. The only taste we could feel was old oil. The base of the dish, some sort of smashed potato with a tomato sauce, was super dry and tasted cheap tomato canned sauce directly from the supermarket shelf.
