Chef's Concept — Restaurant in Alicante

We were heading to another restaurant that turned out to be closed, ended up here at chefs and we were so glad we did!

Having recently been to a couple of high end London restaurants also being meat lovers we hold any steaks/meat to a high standard.

We were seated straight away with table of our choice even though busy being 22:30, meanu was brought straight away and drinks order taken (drinks were brought to us within 3 - 5 minutes).

We both chose the Argentinian free range matured steak came with chips also (ypu could chose plain or bravas). Each meal was €36 so we were expecting a very tasty steak cooked exactly to our liking with even the chips to be exceptional.

What we expected was exactly what we got. The chips were crispy outside fluffy inside well seasoned. Were do I begin with the steak great salted crisp crust on the outside with juicy taste all the way through perfectly cooked and seasoned.

Staff were very polite, service great all very friendly and one member of staff was extremely brilliant even chated giving us a few tips for holiday also some local information on locations to visit less touristy to visit.

All over 10/10 experience will be back soon to try some of the other yummy choices on the menu.

Extremely disappointing experience.

This bar is located in a tourist area, yet the waiter only spoke Spanish and made no effort to understand or communicate in any other language. When I asked for port wine — a well-known product of Portugal — he didn’t even know what it was. That alone would have been surprising, but what followed was simply unacceptable.

The waiter was visibly irritated, unhelpful, and outright rude. When I tried to clarify my order, he responded with profanity and an aggressive attitude. I have never experienced such disrespectful behavior in a hospitality setting, especially in a place that caters to tourists.

This kind of service is absolutely unacceptable and reflects terribly on the establishment. If you’re looking for a place to relax and enjoy a respectful, welcoming atmosphere — I strongly recommend you...

Well the food was ok but what put me off is that they have a menu with these nice pictures and the food looks delicious. So I ordered some beef ribs and they looked very good but when I got the plate served, there was a naked bone on it and the meat was underneath it shredded and looked like pulled pork... The food was OK but if I would have know it is served that way I would have ordered something else. The waiter was unable to give an answer why they picture it different than it actually gets served. Now he sees me writing a comment about the restaurant and gets upset. He should never forget that the customer needs to be respected and in this case the customer got deceived. Can I recommend this restaurant? Probably but just be aware of the beef ribs, they look not very appealing when you get them served. Too bad I didn't...
