El Rincon De Alma — Restaurant in Alicante

I went there with my partner for a dinner. Actually we were looking for a nice menu, and let ourselves persuaded by the waiter. Little we knew that he was actually going in the street to recruit customers eventually. He kept asking everyone "are you romantic table?" and being too pushy. Convinced us about a very good wine on our taste(was actually horrible). We ordered some pork and some chicken on the grill. Both of them tasted more like fish than actual chicken or pork. After he took our order, he disappeared and we got "served" by the waitress who looked a bit "high". Two ladies were sitting next to us and she was calling them lady one and lady one and a half. After finishing the food, our plates were there for another 30 minutes... The only person there who actually knows his stuff, was the third waiter, who was always honest and did not try to sell us stuff but give us a nice experience. He assured us he'll let the chefs know about the fishy taste of the meat. At least he felt real, not pushy, not clickbait. There are so many nice places around, so, make sure you check very well before deciding. This place is not worth the money and they don't even clean the tables properly. Definitely cannot...

Would never go again, nor recommend anyone to go there. I was seated by a super nice waitress who took my order. I ate the carbonara, which was not like authentic carbonara, but still an ok creamy pasta. The waiter who cleared my table and got my bill was not so nice however. He was very up close in my space, not taking no for an answer when I said I was done, continuing to ask me if I wanted this or that. Fine. I get the bill and ask to pay by card. I pay and he puts hos hand on my shoulder. I'm not comfortable being touched by random strangers, so I try to shrug away, making it clear I'm uncomfortable. He just holds on to my shoulder, and still asking me questions. I've never ever felt this uncomfortable with a waiter before in my life by any waiter in any restaurant, and I would not recommend anyone to eat there. Stay clear. Like most restaurants on this street, they have people tempting you to stop and eat and we succumbed. The menu should have been the first warning, it was tatty and greasy! Break out the cleansing gel!! No sooner had we ordered our food - 8pm on a Monday night; they started to clear all other tables. I looked for a secret camera believing this to be a joke, but couldn't see one. Our main meal arrived minutes after our starters. By the time we had finished eating, only 25 minutes later, one staff member had his cycle helmet on, another had left the restaurant with his partner and all that remained was to collapse our table and switch off the patio heater. Bizarre? Yes. Enjoyable evening? Absolutely not. Recommended? I'll leave...
