Avoid This Place at All Costs – Overpriced, Slow Service, and Dishonest Practices.
I would strongly advise anyone reading this to find another place to eat and drink in Alicante. My experience here was nothing short of disappointing, and I can't emphasize enough how much of a scam this place is.
Service: The service is a disaster. Despite there being only two tables occupied, my order was missed twice, and the staff seemed distracted and disinterested. It took an eternity to get two simple cocktails, and the paella took over 25 minutes to arrive, even though there were barely any customers. To make matters worse, the staff didn't seem to care about correcting their mistakes.
Food: The paella, which is heavily advertised in their menu with a nice picture, was a complete letdown. It looked nothing like the image and was bland at best. Worse still, they charge you twice the price for the paella simply because you're sitting with another person, even though it’s advertised as €15. In reality, you're looking at €30 for a single serving – an outrageous rip-off for mediocre food.
Pricing: The prices are absurd for what you get. Not only is the food far below average, but the pricing scheme is misleading. Nowhere in the menu does it say you'll be charged twice for a dish just because you're sharing a table with someone else. The deceptive pricing strategy alone is enough reason to stay far away from this place.
Cocktails: To top it all off, the cocktails are weak and taste like they barely contain any alcohol. For a place that claims to be a bar, this is simply unacceptable.
Ambience: The location is also deceiving. At first glance, the surrounding area may look charming, but in reality, it’s a desolate plaza with little to offer. You’ll spend most of your meal fighting off pigeons that seem to have taken over the area, making it nearly impossible to enjoy your food or drinks in peace.
Final Verdict: This place is a complete scam, from the poor service to the misleading prices. The food is overpriced, the drinks are watered down, and the atmosphere is far from enjoyable. Save yourself the frustration and your hard-earned money – find another place to eat and drink.

Read moreWe were on the hunt for the best paella in town, and this place kept coming up—so we had to give it a try. Overall, it was a solid experience with some definite highlights.
Food: The paella (listed as “arroz” on the menu) was tasty and satisfying. We ordered a portion for three, which came out to about 45 euros total. The flavors were good, and it was clear the ingredients were fresh and thoughtfully prepared. While it might not have been the absolute best paella we've ever had, it definitely hit the spot and left us full and happy. The real standout for us, though, was the sangria—perfectly chilled, fruity, and just sweet enough. Easily one of the better sangrias we’ve had in a while.
Service & Ambiance: The staff was friendly and polite throughout our visit. While the service wasn’t the most attentive, everyone we interacted with was kind and welcoming, which made for a pleasant atmosphere. We also really enjoyed sitting outside—the outdoor seating was lovely and made the meal feel even more special.
Overall: This restaurant offers a nice spot to enjoy a good paella in a relaxed setting. It may be a bit hyped up depending on what you’re expecting, but we still had a good time and left satisfied. If you're in the area, it's definitely worth a visit—especially for the sangria and the cozy...

We made a formal reservation for this evening for 2 PAX. Their booking system is „The Fork“ which we used. We got a formal confirmation that the restaurant accepted our reservation by written email. Also 1 hour before going there we called the restaurant and they confirmed again our reservation saying „great no problem at all“.
We arrived there and two unpleasant men were standing at the door trying to bring us in the restaurant to eat.
We mentioned that we have got already a reservation made then the guy said sorry we are fully booked. Strange, isn’t it?
They shouted at us saying „everyone can say the reservation. What kind of reservation you have…“ we have whitnesses for that incident…
So as we are not used to be treated like this at all from shouting men. we decided to leave the restaurant. What a pity as we thought to spend a good time there. The incident will be reported.
We found another nice place where the owner treated us super nice and with respect. Alicante is full of nice restaurants…
So we strongly recommend not to...
