Natural real food — Restaurant in Alicante

The rudest service and lack of service I have ever seen. I went to have brunch with a group from Meetup. They had emailed Natural Real Food in advance, and were told the restaurant does not take reservations but there would be plenty of tables available.

We arrived early, before opening, and requested a table for fifteen. We were told we’d have to sit at separate tables, which is fine, but the two tables they gave us comfortably seated five people each. We asked for additional seating, and they refused. Aside from us, there were two couples on the terrace and the indoor tables were completely vacant. The waitstaff left us sitting without taking our orders for more than 15 minutes, and told us we would not be able to eat at the same time due to kitchen capacity. Remember the restaurant was not full, there were less than 20 people at 4 total tables.

Ultimately we chose to leave and move to a cafe nearby that welcomed us with smiles.

I love eggs for breakfast and in Alicante not that much places offering them. I’ve been here so many times and always was completely satisfied with food, variety and service. Today three of us ordered toasts with eggs and salmon - my kid and husband had normal usual portions and on my toast was so tiny portion of salmon, that I decided to tell the waiter about that. On of the guys told me: ok, I’ll talk with the kitchen and the other said: that’s how we serve (and left immediately)! Ok, but two other plates weren’t the same! Anyway: this review is about service. Which is truly disappointing today. I’ll never come back. Unfortunately I haven’t make a picture as my guys have already started to eat while I was talking to the staff.

And once more - I didn’t want additional salmon. I just wanted the same portion as two others. Mine was...

Ayer visite el local, no era la primera vez que iba, pero lamentándolo mucho si la última.

Yo me pedí un bowl y un smoothie de mango (como en otras ocasiones en la que he visitado el local). Al servirnos el desayuno, el camarero súper amable, se disculpó por la tardanza. Cuando probé el smoothie de mango, (que no era la primera vez que lo pedía aquí) me dio un sabor bastante desagradable como a “madera”, quizá sería por la pajita ecológica, por lo que decidí quitarla y probarla sin ella, me sabía igual, le di a probar a mi acompañante por si era cosa mía, y no, sabía bastante raro. Al pedir la cuanta, se lo dije muy educadamente al camarero, no para que no me lo cobrara, ni para que me trajera otro, simplemente para que lo supiera. Cuando me trajo la cuenta me el camarero se disculpó, muy amablemente y en la cuenta no estaba cobrado el smoothie, pero vino corriendo el chico que se presentó como el dueño de muy malas maneras a traerme el smoothie diciéndome que lo había probado y que no tenia mal gusto (que lo había probado con una pajita, que luego caen sus babas, y me lo trae para que me lo beba 😨), le digo que no hay problema que lo voy a pagar, y le dice al camarero con muy malos modales que son 6 euros. Al irme, me doy cuenta que el smoothie costaba 4€ (no hubiera vuelto a por los 2€, pero como me senti tan atacada, decidí volver). Me da los 2 euros de muy malas maneras y me dice que está muy cansado de que la gente le intente devolver los productos para que no se los cobre, entiendo lo que me dijo, pero no fue el caso, ya que se los pague sin problema y en ningún momento me dijo de devolvérmelos, lo único que se encargó de hacer con su cocinera fue debatirme aún más (entiendo que el cliente no siempre lleva la razón, pero tampoco es para ponerse así, hay que ser un poquito más empatico en esta vida, que nunca sabes la mochila que está cargando la gente con la que te cruzas). Es una lástima que por 1€ que le debe costar a él hacer un smoothie haya perdido a dos clientes que siempre que vamos a San Juan visitábamos el establecimiento.
