A Missed Opportunity for Culinary Delights
Upon entering the dining establishment, I couldn't help but anticipate a memorable gastronomic experience filled with exquisite flavors and delightful surprises. Unfortunately, while the dishes showcased potential, the overall dining experience left much to be desired.
Let's start with the food. The menu boasted an array of intriguing choices, promising a unique culinary adventure. However, despite the initial excitement, the execution fell short. The flavors were present, yet the portion sizes and prices left much to be desired. I have frequented numerous establishments in Madrid that offer similar price points, yet they consistently leave guests feeling fully satisfied. Regrettably, this was not the case here.
Moving on to the service, the initial impression was favorable, with the staff appearing accommodating and eager to assist in various ways. However, once seated, the level of attentiveness waned. Each person at our table received their food at different times, an experience more commonly expected during busy weekends or peak dining hours. Surprisingly, this occurred on a seemingly calm Wednesday evening with multiple servers available. It wasn't an arduous task to synchronize the service, leading me to believe that perhaps our presence was not genuinely welcomed. It's possible that our decision to abstain from alcohol played a role, although the final bill was disproportionately high due to the number of patrons.
While the menu showcased an exciting range of dishes, it lacked a cohesive theme. The unconventional pairings piqued curiosity, yet failed to deliver the anticipated "wow" factor. This establishment has the potential to become an extraordinary culinary destination with a long-lasting legacy, but the current menu falls short of that mark.
In conclusion, my visit to this restaurant was filled with unfulfilled expectations. The flavors were promising, but the lackluster portion sizes and prices left me wanting more. The service started off well-intentioned but faltered in execution, resulting in a disjointed dining experience. Although the menu displayed creativity and potential, it failed to make a lasting impression. It is my sincere hope that this establishment will refine its offerings to reach the heights it...
Read moreFood is great and I visited this place last year, I loved it back then and wanted to be back. This time we came twice and Service got horrible. First time we didn't get in because waitress told us everything booked even though only 2 table were busy, I don't think everyone comes to eat at the same time. If I were a restaraunt owner I would have a closer look into the lost business opportunity here. When we came a 2nd time today we did a reservation and waitress has been unfriendly to us once again tried to put us to very inconvenient table and got kind of mad and unhappy when we asked for another table because we were with a baby and a stroller. Also we felt very descriminated because when spanish family came everyone was happy and smiling. Long story short: food is good and Desserts are nice, but service got much worse which ruins...
Read moreThe food here was really delicious. 🤩 It's always full and you need a reservation and I didn't know why it was so crowded compared to the other places. But after tasting the food I understood why. The staff is very nice and they serve quickly.
They have a reinterpreted international menu that offers a perfect balance of flavors and there is nothing in the area that offers something like this. I put it in the category of rare restaurants that you should try at least once, although here you will want to come back. I tried the beef tartare, the beef tenderloin, the ice cream and the cheesecake, all of them...
