tl;dr: this is much better than the fancier places around so if you're reading this, sit down at a table here and read on.

We stopped by here as we wanted a no-fuss dinner in a relaxed setting away from the madness in the more touristic area and this provided exactly that. The waiter was very friendly and professional and spoke good English.

The food was very well priced so we decided to try a few things and everything was absolutely delicious! Definitely try the pancakes (crepes?) - they're out of this world.

We paid €21 (+ tip for the great service) for 4 beers, 6 pancakes and a portion of great Patatas Bravas which is amazing value!

Although this is a very unassuming place, we enjoyed it more than any other fancier places on our trip so if you're going to pick a place to eat then I would definitely recommend choosing this, you...

Shame there is not a zero star option. By far the most disappointing meal I have had in years!! We have walked past the place a few times and it always looked busy and vibrant. The food however was terrible… I had a prawn curry… the top was congealed and must have been made from just curry powder and nata… I can equate it to something your old granny might have cooked that you had to force down to be polite!!! I do not make a habit in writing bad reviews, however this meal was so terrible that when we saw some tourists entering, we were even considering warning them of how awful the food was!! Please take this review seriously, Alicante has an abundance of wonderful restaurants so why go to a place that offers sub standard food that is clearly cutting corners on quality. We LOVED this restaurant! Food was delicious. The garlic prawns, prawn curry, cod with cream sauce with rice and cheesecake were so tasty ! Couldn't fault the food at all! We sat outside on the terrace, a lovely and peaceful ambience. The waitress was so lovely, very friendly and efficient. She provided excellent service ! Thankyou to the waitress and the chef for a lovely experience. If we had stayed longer in Alicante we would have gone back again. Highly recommend! Easy...
