Went when Spain were playing and feel the servers were more interested in the football. Asked for fresh seafood such as said, sardines, etc and was told they didn’t have any fresh seafood till WednesdayThursday (1/2 days later). Waited 15 mins to be asked what we wanted to drink and then a further 15 mins to get our wine, but not our bottle of water or ice (that took 1 hour and was told a gift from them as it took so long). Another half hour for our starter without the tomato, which came half hour after we finished the starter (this was given with the extra bread to a vagrant). Our seafood paella came with was mainly shelled mussels and cut cured ham, hardly any fish or a compliments. No crust on the bottom of the paella and for a generation family run restaurant was so very disappointed. Had to go into the restaurant to ask and then pay for the bill as no servers came near or by. Gutted to put such a disappointing review on what looked and reviewed so well. Would give 2 stars at...
Read moreHad one of the worst experiences eating out in Alicante in this restaurant!! The waiter was not friendly at all, even considered as rude. We’re paying here!! The waiter took the tomato salad plate roughly and spilled the oil all over even almost spilled on my bf, but jo apology or any regret expression what so ever! No! Even worse, they just bluntly put the bills on our table without us asking while I was still drinking my drink and asked if we’re going to pay using card or cash. WTH!?!?
The food?? The tomato salad was so bad that you could make the better ones at home! The use the cheapest tomato ever! The meat was OK but they didn’t ask me how I wanted the meat to be done. Moreover, they only have 1 option of beef and no chicken dish at all. Not much options if you don’t eat pork. 🙄
Very not recommended from both sides, the service and food. Better go...
Read moreAmazing typically Spanish authentic restaurant in beautiful leafy square. My sister, boyfriend and I had lovely tapas including chorizo in brandy, sobresada tapas and gorgeous aioli and bread. We went back again for the Senyoret paella, which was the most memorable meal of our holidays! But the best part was the amazingly friendly and knowledgeable service by Yunier, a charming bilingual Cuban, who advised us on everything from tapas to Rosé wine, and waited on us hand and foot all evening! He is an asset to the restaurant and we were so happy to go back! Can...
