Nice atmosphere but the quality of the food was a bit uneven, I had the tuna tartar which was great and the croquetas also but my company recieved a sandwhich that was quite dry and boring. There was also a charge for sitting in the restaurant and getting served that was 1.40 per/person, it was not only surprising but since the service was mediocre it felt like being tricked into some form of tipping.
They also did not seem very keen on assisting with allergies and did not listen when we tried to explain, instead the waitress just cut us off. Which made us feel like they did not want to help us find a dish that was safe but still fun to eat. There were several dishes on the menu other than sandwhiches that probably would have worked but they did not even want to serve us a dish with ketchup 😅 which is something a person allergic to nuts usually can eat. Tried a Ham croquette which was lovely. The chicken fingers lacked flavour.
I went for the high rib for my main... asked for it medium well.. but came out more on the medium side.. bloody on one edge (pictured)
It was mostly fat.... the peppers that came with it were quite flavourless.. Just a bit disappointed after reading such as..great reviews.
The Mrs had the cod dish.. and said it was lovely... so it may have been I just chose badly..
We only had water.. but our bill came to over €60 which is a bit steep compared to other places in the area.. and the quality it delivered...

Read moreFound this place randomly on Google Maps and it seems luck was on our side. Best meal we had in Alicante and felt like we stumbled across a Michelin star restaurant. We went back two nights in a row due fo the high quality food and amazing service. Our waiter was so knowledgeable, spoke great English and contributes greatly to our dining experience. Enjoyed the squid and black aioli sauce the most, followed by the blue cheese and honey croquettes and both sirloin and fillet steaks! I thought the squid, salmon and cod fish were all too salty and not my taste but still a 5 star...
