Located right by the Calle De Las Tiendas in the heart of Almeria, El Quincho is the perfect place for a relaxed midday meal with a glass or two of wine, or a caña of beer, with some tapas to go with it!
With a deceptively simple set up inside, El Quincho features a nice selection of wines (both times we went, we got ourselves glasses of their Alberiño), and a good variety of tapas to order from. Seafood, fish, meat and vegetable dishes all feature, along with a very popular paella dish (which needs to be ordered when it's ready from the kitchen!).
Service was good in a relaxed atmosphere. My Spanish isn't great (Duolingo only gets you so far I think!) but we were able to get our orders across, service was always good, and with a lot of the bars and restaurants in Almeria, the price is exceptionally reasonable.
