Location, location, location. One of the things that really elevate the food. And this little cafe has a great location. On a board walk into a small island, the cafe is situated a short walk from the beach. Of course there are some negatives, one being the birds tend to pirate the table. Opportunity pecking at whatever they can and flying low. It's not bad, but they can come in close. We stopped by for lunch and noticed that you have to wait for a table. It's popular so you may have to wait, lucky we didn't have to wait to long. I tried the beer and a cappuccino, strange combo, but I wanted to try the coffee. It was a smooth and had a great taste. The beer was also appreciated, the local mass produced beer, which I cannot remember the name of? (They called it a Jarra, a Pint, but I cannot remember the brand) Some great choices on the menu. Sadly we had eaten and not as hungry as we could have been. I ordered the Club Sandwich and my wife ordered the burger. Both very tasty and light perfect for a little bite ... and to enjoy the great location. But we couldn't leave it there, so we had to have a dessert, Grandma's Traditional custard and I think I had the Bienmesabe almond and Vanilla Ice Cream. Which was nice but was not what I was expecting. It looked like a Knickerbocker glory, nice on a hot day and I ate it all up. I am not a fan of custard, but must admit my wife's dessert was actually very tasty, even though it was served cold. I wish we had something more substantial from the menu, but there are so many places to eat and so little time, you can easily stuff yourself. And I definitely recommend this place, as one to stuff yourself at. The only complaint I have, very mild complaint, is the language barrier. While I don't judge too harsh, as I think Fuerteventura has 3-4 different common languages. Spanish and English being most prevalent, so it must be hard for locals to learn. That being said it does make ordering and service a little tricky. For example I asked for the menu, to order dessert, and we got an ashtray. But I cannot say a bad word against the staff, they were friendly, and it was very busy that day the as their computer was giving...

This bar and restaurant are in an amazing position across a walkway over the la Guirra beach Lagoon. The walkway is suitable for a wheel chairs and buggy. If you are unsteady on your feet make sure you take a stick or hold someone's arm as the wooden walkway and bridge is a bit uneven and the outside seating area is typical Cararian rocks and cement so not even either. Closest parking is in the Park Plaza behind the Elba Beach hotel - parking is free. We went at about 1:30PM Service was great - lovely friendly staff, it was busy with high turn over OF tables, Most tables outside were in the shade with rustic looking shades made from Palm leaf fronds, I can imagine though that it can be a bit windy there as it is in exposed position. I ordered mixed fish and sea food plater - the fish and prawns were fantastic but the mussels were not pleasant, they were odd tasting and dried up, the squid had not had the membrane removed so was chewy - but it tasted nice. Food took no longer to come than all the restaurants where we had eaten. We had no issues getting the bill or paying, we found it a really lovely place to sit and chill. Coffee was ok, Beer was nice and the Cava Sangria was fantastic. music ws really good and at the...

I had high hopes for this place due to lots of good reviews and the location is incredible. Unfortunately it was not good. All the good seats were taken so we were sat around the side. I would not advise this, wait for a good seat outside under an umbrella. This place is expensive for what you get, especially for what you get. We ordered the seafood platter (cant remember the exact name). The third and last prawn which looked cooked from the outside was TOTALLY RAW inside. We spent the rest of the afternoon if the first two prawns (which looked borderline) would make us ill. I reported this tot he waitress who mumbled sorry and immediately delivered us our full bill. We ordered a salad also which was tomato and feta, no dressing, no oil, no seasoning. Toilets were bad, no soap left in the dispenser. I really wanted to...
