HAVELI INDIAN RESTAURANT — Restaurant in Antigua

There are 9 of us who ordered dinner one night. The dishes that we had are; Lamb Saag, Lamb Madras, Matar Paneer, Vegetable Biriyani, Keema Naan, Garlic and Cheese Naan, Plain Naan, Mushroom Rice, Onion Bhajis and Vegetable Samosas.

Everyone was extremely pleased with their food. It is slightly spicier than the food in the UK, but in my opinion, it was actually nicer as a result. My paneer was perfectly cooked, sauce was delicious. Everything was great. The only thing I would personally prefer is if the naans used a garlic butter instead of garlic cloves. Some of my party didn’t enjoy the cloves that were in the garlic and cheese naans, though it doesn’t bother me.

Overall, a great place to order from. I can’t speak for the in-house experience, but delivery is fantastic. We had an issue with our address and the gentleman in the restaurant spoke with me on the phone and WhatsApp to...

This place is dreadful....it took ages for someone to take our order..the pakora starters consists of 3 pieces ....it actually tastes ok...then we waited 40 minutes for our main meal...the chicken tikka that we ordered arrived sizzling, however when we cut into it, it was totally raw in the middle...after informing the waitress that it was not cooked, she took it away to be replaced..10 minutes later she returned with a new plateful, and informed us that we should have mentioned that we wanted it cooked well done !!!! What does that mean ??? Chicken is either cooked or not cooked...!!! Would not recommend this restaurant to anyone...unless you want an upset stomach the following day... PS.....the toilets are also a lot to be desired also....you have...

Avoid Avoid Avoid. My wife and I were looking forward to a nice curry whilst visiting Fuerteventura. Big mistake coming here. We ordered a mixed starter for two. Everything was over cooked and tough. Totally inedible. We complained and decided it wasn’t the place to eat. We offered to pay for the drinks and we’re told to pay for half the food. We refused to pay for the food and we’re threatened with a call to the police. Eventually left just paying for drinks. On the plus side we ended up eating at Fado Rock steak house.
