Step Inn — Restaurant in Antigua

Went to the Step Inn last night to watch the Celtic v Partick Thistle game after being told on Sunday it was 95% sure it would be on. Checked again last night before going to get something to eat and was told again the chances were 95% of seeing it. When we went back in it wasn’t being shown due to buffering issues. I totally understand that but whilst speaking to the Scottish barman, a Hibs fan who I’d been speaking to on Sunday, my wife and I were shocked to be told that I was argumentative and arrogant. Both my wife and I totally refute that and I talked to the manager about it. He obviously took his employees side but I’d just like to put the record straight that I was in no way argumentative or rude, in fact it was the other way about. Full breakfast for €8.95 in mid July 2025. They open earlier than most so handy for this area. Nice thick back bacon(2) Lovely sausages(2) fried or scrambled eggs(1) half a freshly grilled tomato, a few fresh mushrooms, a little hash brown & a little pot of beans. We weren’t so keen on the black or white pudding but the slice of crusty farmhouse style bread was a lovely change to other breakfasts we have had in Caleta. Coffee @ €2.50 was really good. Love this place. Staff were soooooo friendly down to earth and overall super helpful. Although no separate menu for Gluten free, they were brilliant. My wife and son were well fed. There was 9 in our group, we found this place on day 2. We had breakfast there everyday we were there after that. The consensus was, if you found somewhere that good, why look any further.
