Buffet carta libre taste — Restaurant in Arona

Reason for me being sharing is simply because of the service! Food is ok for buffet style not the best not the worst but I did not went with any expectations since I never had try sushi/Chinese in tenerife So food in general was ok regarding Japanese. Regarding Chinese part or what I assume Chinese dumpling and duck I must was say good however fry shrimp was pretty salty! The reason for 2 stars is service since I arrive 8:15 practically was just another 2 tables eating nothing more so we order fried rolls arrive pretty fast and fry shrimp!after that we order sushi the problem was in the mean while another 3 tables arrive and order also hot and cold plates and all the 3 tables have been serve first them then us with way more quantity then us! Me and my girlfriend almost taught about to leave since from sushi order time has pass 35 min and all this seing another tables being served first them us make weird we even taught that usual clients maybe since many house unfortunately serve first usual clients! However when asking to the waiter that serve us instead of apologizing told us we order after them also that hot food is serve faster them cold food and also said is 1 person cooking All that could make sense however all the another tables who order sushi after us still got the order first. After trying to speak with her still got a comment of being in rush! Funny I'm in holidays and normally me and my girlfriend are pretty chill since we also work in the same field ! Apparently this isnt all you can eat. 3 of us dined ordered starters to share;2 soups, 2 portions of ribs (small portions 2 different types of ribs), 1 prawn toast (4 triangles), 1 spring roll (3 pieces ) 1 chicken skewers (2 small skewers) Ordered another skewers so we could each have one and also ordered 2 mains to share and a rice and a chips to share When brought out the mains they had forgotten the chips so when we asked the male waiter for them we were told the kitchen was closed to our confusion. When the female waitress came to clear our plates she asked if we wanted to order more and we told her we had been told the kitchen was closed. After much confusion, as she said this was not the case, it eventually came to light that chef had said kitchen was closed to us as we had ordered too much! Disappointed as was lovely food so would have liked to have tried another dish and waa offended by the rudeness of rhe male waiter. We visited as a family of 5. There was only one waitress who was friendly but obviously overwhelmed bec guests just kept coming in. So the experience we had was of more waiting than eating. All the items on the menu qualified only as appetizer portions. It’s already understandably slow service but the minuscule portions and the fact that some ingredients weren’t fresh like they claim them to be is what will make you just give up ordering more and just continue eating somewhere else. You’ll also have to ask for the desserts since they’re not on the menu. You won’t be missing much though, as the cakes and ice cream are also served in minute portions and have probably been sitting in the freezer for months. The takeaway: don’t go there if you’re actually hungry and are used to reasonably fast service. If you want to just order drinks over a long conversation and have something para picar with amigos, then go and give it a try. They’re very particular about guests not wasting food as it says on the menu so maybe that’s one reason everything is sooooo small. P.S. The drinks are...
