Dylans bar — Restaurant in Arona

So, my wife and I are on holiday for a week, been here a few days, we have had great food and drink at various venues. We were out for food, and decided to have a drink first. We passed Dylan's and were given the hard sell from an elderly PR outside, who should probably have been in her house, not hassling tourists, and robbing them with lies about how good the venue is. Anyway we went in and explained that we did not want the 2 for 1 offer, just wanted 2 drinks (pretty sure this offended from the start) The drinks arrived, 2 black Russians. Totally undrinkable, warm flat cola, and no taste to the drink at all. We decided to leave, I told the waitress about the drinks, she wasn't interested and couldn't wait to take our money. Mentioned the drinks and the service provided to the PR outside, who went inside and took the evidence away, I waited to see if there was any reaction, none given, so I asked to speak to the manager, who looked about 16, she showed me a random can of coke and said that our drinks had been freshly made with that particular can of coke, really??? A guy sat at the bar then chipped in and grabbed a can of coke and opened it and said "see is that not fizzy", a really pathetic gesture. He then said we could have 2 more drinks, by which time the moment had gone, but no refund!!! I left the bar and the PR was then rude and aggressive, and now talking like she owned the bar??? So service, drinks absolutely terrible. Another cases of holiday makers being robbed by greed bar owners. I can only think that the good reviews on here about this bar, are self posted? I would like to advise anyone to stay away from here if you want to drink anything except beer, because thier cocktales need help. Maybe some proper cocktales training should be in order, along side some people skills and management training in how to deal with customers with...

Popped in as we were walking past (having got off the bus at the wrong stop!) as we quite fancied a cooked breakfast. The greeting was pleasant and we ordered drinks and food but when our food arrived it did so in a cold state, the beans felt like they had just been tipped out of the tin they were that cold. We duly complained and were told it would be rectified and 5 minutes later the food returned in a slightly warmer state. Hungry and slightly annoyed we ate the food, paid up and left. No apologies for the cold food were made and the least we expected was some reparation in terms of discount for the mistake but nothing. Sorry to say i would not recommend, may have been a one off experience but as were only in the area for the one day with no option to 'try again' first impressions count, and our first impression...

We had a fab time and the staff were very happy to serve us. It all turned a bit sour when we went to leave, we were a big party of 12 and shared a bar tab for 2 x rounds, which we then cleared, all orders after that were paid for at the bar and slowly our party left. Everyone of our party went to the bar to check there were no bills outstanding, all were told no, but as the finally two people left, they got hit with an unpaid bill, the staff became aggressive, bullied into paying it.
