Good beer (craft beer so relatively pricey) and decor but the food isn’t worth the visit. Big portions but the burger and fries were lacking in flavour, which is a shame as there appears to be an emphasis on freshness and quality. Not worth it considering the price - €13.50 for the burger and an extra €3.50 for the fries well as an extra €3.50 for a trio of sauces.
Edit: Having read other reviews for this place following the reply to my review, it’s clear that there is a theme of defensiveness and arrogance. Constructive criticism is key to learning and I must insist that the food was simply insipid - your patties are way too thick and crumbly, your fries are undercooked and unseasoned - they would strongly benefit from a second fry and they even had an unpleasant bleach-like aftertaste to them. Patronising customers by insinuating that they cannot appreciate quality food is not the way to go - I even stated in my original review that there are clearly quality ingredients used but the execution is poor. The lack of “flavour enhancers” you refer to does not justify the absence of basic natural salt and pepper, which I am sure are responsible for enhancing flavour. This meal resolved my hunger but was devoid of culinary pleasure. It might occur to you that, maybe even occasionally, the customer...
Read moreWe love craft beer (IPA, Pale Ale etc) and always seek out breweries and craft beer places on our travels. This place could rival any of them. We had the West Coast IPA, Pale Ale and Munich Helles all of which were incredible. Some of the best beer I’ve ever had. We’re also vegan so were drawn here as they advertise a vegan burger. Wasn’t expecting much but they were seriously as good as any vegan burger you would get in London or anywhere with a reputation for good vegan food. They do two vegan burgers, one standard burger and one is a doner meat burger (iron vegan) they were both amazing. The bar was modern and clean and the outside seating was in a cute setting. Absolute must visit place in South Tenerife. We only have a few days left of our holiday but will definitely make the half an hour walk from our hotel to come back here again before we go home. Cannot recommend this...
Read moreAs a solo traveller, it can sometimes be difficult to find a place that you feel comfortable enough to dine alone. This venue was friendly and the ambience perfect, away from the crowds of beach front options with the demands of staff trying to to drag you in to dine on the same old menu. I started with the Belgian Blonde beer (could've stayed on this stuff-super nice), accompanied by Kalamata olives marinated in orange. I ordered the classic burger and 'Chef's Potatoes' (homemade crisps to us Brits), followed with a very hoppy West Coast IPA. The beers were lovely and the burger was one of the best I've ever had. Even with a sizeable appetite, the burger alone would have been enough. I'm not a serial reviewer but when someone is creating something a little different, with the focus and care on ingredients prepared on site (including the buns) and served with genuine pride,...
