SHREE JYOTI BHARAT (INDIAN) TANDOORI RESTAURANT — Restaurant in Arona

Our usual indian restaurant was forced to close down because its location was really bad. fortunately for us google maps displayed an alternative that had (may 2025) 4.9, so we tried it and could not be happier or more impressed with Shree Jyoti Bharat even if we owned it ourselves. Do NOT be put off by either the front or rear entrances which are unfortunate but mask a delightful experience from those unfortunates who, like the couple who preceeded us, chose not to enter. The food is fantastic, the service outstanding and friendly and the decor is both fun and extremely clean. The prices are also fantastic. 2 starters, 2 main courses, sundries (it's an indian restaurant so papadums and garlic nan are a must) and a few drinks... less than €60!!

We arrived after 9pm so the place was lovely and quiet, which meant a large portion of personal service was joyfully given. Our waiter even nipped out to the shop next door to buy slimline tonic for my wife's gin. Parking IS available, but its in a popular and busy area so a blue badge helps.
