Street Burger Tenerife. //Homemade Burgers and Arepas — Restaurant in Arona

Came with a friend to try their "Juernes" (Thursday {jueves}) deal. 2 burgers with chips & 2 soft drinks/cañas for €21.99. At first the waitress seemed confused by what we were asking about & we were then told that the Volcan burger - the one pictured for their own advertising for this promotion & also listed as one of the 4 options valid for the offer was actually NOT an option if we wanted the Juernes deal. No real issue but seemed a bit misleading. Opted for the Street Burger & the Canaria Burger. We were not asked how we would like the meat cooked (both preferring anything from rare to medium) The Street burger was a medium rare which was lovely, bold classic flavours. The Canaria burger came nearer well done which spoilt the good meat. Putting goats cheese with almagrote is a brave choice & not one that works well together - it should either be almagrote or goats cheese as they are both very powerful flavours.(Personal preference) Unfortunately it was virtually impossible to get the waitress's attention to amend the meat or to rectify both the regular & sweet potato fries (€1.5 extra) as they were served drowning in salt - both cooked really well except for the quantity of salt. 3.5 stars Better than average burgers; however nothing exceptional, misleading promotion,...

The burgers are well made and the prices including fries are very reasonable considering the prices of other burgers around the Los Cristiano's area. Street Burger are situated in le Pepe food market. These were cooked and served within 12 minutes which is very fast in the food court. As they are American themed, I was hoping the burger would be made with beef but the burger tasted more like seasoned pork with parsley. It was still very nice but not like an actual American beef burger. My husband ordered the street burger with 1/2 portion of cheesy bacon fries and I had a classic burger and standard french fries. Been on holidays for the last 11 years and had many burgers but this rates as my number 2 in all those years bar Hickorys Restaurant in paphos Cyprus... If your in Los cristianos tenerife you must try theses burgers that are cooked to perfection and taste divine... Highly recommend and a must visit while you are there...
