Tasca el Congreso — Restaurant in Arona

Many things on the menu weren’t available and the owner (seemed to be the owner) tried to “sell” us on taking what he had left…mainly meat and we don’t eat meat.

Portions weren’t great and deep fried food came out very crispy.

He did say he was closing for a few days and this was going to be his last for a week or so, hence the lack of availability but what was served could have been better, sorry.

I did feel sorry for the waitress, she did her best but couldn’t make up for the poor quality food.

What can I say... excellent value for money. It is now run by an Italian couple whom I describe as wonderful and very willing to work. The products are fresh, everything is prepared by them and the prices are unbeatable. Went i few times already and i tried the vegetable tapa, chicken burgers, pasta, coffee, and the wrap. You can see the desire to do things well....

Very nice place for breakfast, we ate here for 3 days in a row and we loved it. The family that owns this small business is very nice, passionate about what they do and you can see it in the quality of the food: very tasty and also esthetic. Really enjoyed it! Congrats to you and greetings...
