Pizza May — Restaurant in Arona

This place is more of a take-away than an restaurant, but that does not mean it isn’t restaurant quality. The pizza’s are delicious, you can see they are freshly made with real ingredients (and not cheap canned stuff). There are only a few tables on the terrace so you have to be lucky if you want to eat in but the view is nice. There are usually a group of waiting customers for take-away and sometimes they take in a seat. Seeing such popularity means the food is great but they take the space and comfort of the customers who want to eat in.

Service wasn’t that great, it seems they have a lot of orders to process every day so they might not have all the time and attention but in the end the key point of the rating is the food. And like I said, delicious pizza’s. There are some fancy Italian restaurant that couldn’t match this place, let alone the pricing. During my visit in Los Cristianos I stopped here for pizza twice (and I never eat at the same venue multiple times) and whenever I revist Los Cristianos again you can be sure i’ll be having...

This is a family run pizza and Kebab shop with a few tables on the raised walkway outside. The owner was a very amiable Albanian man who quickly offered large shots of Raki and a curious type of whisky as soon as he realised I was Scottish. The Bar next door had a mix of locals and Brits sharing a snack from Pizza Mays and a few Brandy's.

We had 1 chicken and 1 beef wrap and 1 Donner in a round pitta.

The salad was obviously fresh and we were given a generous dollop of garlic and chilli sauce. None of the meat was either dry or greasy and the foil wrapping kept them warm for the 10 minutes it took to walk up the hill.

The best pizzas in all tenerife made fresh , free delivery in Los cris and Las americas , the pizza kebab is brilliant , I recommend it. Sit in and get a pizza , chips , beer , wine. Arturo , his wife, and all the staff are always very welcoming. I always go there when I'm back in tenerife , been going there more than 15 years. Always Good never disappoints.
