Amazing Japanese Peruvian restaurant located in Eixample area.
The place has a good atmosphere and Japanese inspiration decoration.
The staff is very professional, friendly and skilled.
The food is just amazing and well portioned. Most of the staff speak English so in case you are not speaking Spanish, no problem.
From the miso soup, to sashimi, nigiri and hand roll it was a real experience full of flavors !
I really recommend to try all the nigiris. I cannot say which one is my favorite. I am usually not fan of eel, however their eel nigiri was super tasty. On top it is served with a shredded chocolate on top from a small grater, which is perfect for your social network video.
The hand roll are amazing as well, we didn’t try all of them however we were absolutely under the charm of their food.
The alcoholic cocktail are nice and I really recommend you to go with the Akiro Spicy Mule.
Desser wise we tried the Miso Brownie with a Cappucino ice cream. Delicious
We will definitely come back !!!!
Thank to all the staff, I forgot to ask the name of our waiter and sushi chef however all my gratitude...
Read moreI had already been to Akiro in Madrid and loved it — and this visit was just as impressive. I can honestly say the shrimp hand roll I had this time was one of the best I’ve ever tasted. We also tried the crab hand roll, which was excellent as well. The sea bass tiradito had the same delicious sauce I remembered from before, and I still enjoyed it — though I think I would have liked it even more if the slices had been a bit thinner.
As a big fan of ceviche, I was also happy with theirs — the spice level of the sauce was spot on and really flavorful.
Scallop Nigiri is also a must try.
The atmosphere is just like in Madrid: stylish yet relaxed, with no pretension. Sitting at the counter in front of the chefs and having the hand rolls served immediately was a highlight. A consistently great experience with fresh, creative dishes and a welcoming vibe. Big thanks to Pedro who served us with all...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of dining at Akiro, and I can confidently say it was AMAZING. This gem masterfully combines Japanese and Peruvian flavours, creating a fusion that’s both innovative and deeply satisfying.
The hand rolls are nothing short of perfection. The freshness of the fish, the beautifully seasoned rice, and the delicate yet bold sauces made every bite a flavour packed delight. Each roll felt like a piece of art, meticulously prepared.
The ambiance was equally noteworthy—elegant yet relaxed, making it an ideal spot for both casual dinners and special occasions. The staff were attentive and knowledgeable, happy to explain the unique fusion concept and recommend their favorites.
If you’re a fan of Japanese cuisine or looking to explore something new and exciting, this is the place to be. I can’t wait to return and try more of their hand...
