Petit Bangkok. — Restaurant in Barcelona

Unfortunately, I can not agree with the current rating of 4.6.

Went there for lunch today and ordered the pad kra pao with chicken. This is so far from the authentic flavor that it could be a different dish. The dish was just okay to eat, the chickenand vegetables were chopped quite big.

Price: EUR 16.50 (too high for what it is) There was no lunch menu. They charged 2 Euro extra for a small bowl of rice.

Service: it was 14:30 and the dish came quickly after placing my order. Asked for chili oil but only received chili flakes.

Atmosphere: might be ok for a quick bite but didn't feel the vibe of a Thai restaurant.

Conclusion: It didn't make me happy like it usually does when I go out for Thai food. If you are looking for flavor-packed Thai cuisine, this is not the place. I...

Decided to visit this place because of the reviews. Posting while I’m currently waiting for my food. We came in and the lady said to just go ahead and sit somewhere. With about 5 open tables we seated ourselves. After ordering wine & waiting to order this lady came to us and asked if we had a reservation.. well no we didn’t, but she didn’t say anything when we first arrived. She didn’t give us any options and she said she needed the table even though there wasn’t anyone waiting. We already had our wine so we asked if it was okay if we moved to a small table (3 of us) kind of rude she said ok. So end of story- bad service. Reservation: Could not make a reservation for our last minute dinner so we went there a bit before opening and we had luck, they gave us a table. 10 min after opening the restaurant was already full, so i recommend to make a reservation.

Food: Portions were good size We had 2 soups, tom yum goong and tom kha kai. Both were really good.

For main dish we had a massaman curry with pork and a red curry with duck, both were good but the pork was a bit hard, and the duck came with a lot of soft skin in the plate which i dont like too much personally.

Service: They were friendly, helpful and quick.
