Almayer Cocktail Bar — Restaurant in Barcelona

This used to be my favorite bar — until tonight. The “kindest” bartender told us we had to sit at a table for two, in an empty room, because the table we chose was “for four.” In. An. Empty. Room.

Nothing kills the mood faster than pointless rules when you’re just trying to enjoy your evening. And by the way, you have an amazing upstairs space — it’s a shame it’s never open.

Sadly, I can’t reply to your response. I get that this is a management rule, but in an empty bar, it makes zero sense. If rules matter more than how your guests feel, then I’m genuinely sorry for your service.

In our case, the bartender could’ve simply said, “You can sit at the table for four unless a group needs it.” Instead, it felt like being policed — and if that’s how you choose to treat your clients, that’s...

Ended up here by chance, we were supposed to go to another bar that took too long to welcome my friend and I. I want to highlight the fact that I fell in love with the vibe of the place thanks to its mesmerizing interior decoration. It really looked like every detail had been carefully and symbolically chosen. We felt like we were sailing through time and space. Not to mention, of course, the delicious and affordable cocktails that were served. The flavors were amazing for the price. Each handmade cocktails was cool and worth the try, plus they were served in a beautiful glass. The bartenders were also very welcoming, they let us take every photos we wanted to immortalise this experience. The music was great as well. Not a single flaw to Almayer. THANKS YOU AND KISSES...
