This café has been a beloved spot on my list for years, which is why it’s so disappointing to write this review. My recent experience was profoundly upsetting and has likely changed my perception of this place for good.
My group had just finished a pleasant breakfast and was ready to pay and leave. As we were settling the bill, a friend who had just arrived popped inside to quickly buy a croissant to take away. She joined us at our outdoor table to wait while we finalized the payment.
What happened next was completely unacceptable. A waiter became visibly and audibly upset with her for not ordering the croissant at table. He launched into a condescending pep talk, refusing to listen to her explanation or even hear her out. The energy he brought was aggressive, intrusive, and utterly disrespectful.
When he claimed there was a price difference between, my friend immediately offered to pay it—this was never about the money. It was about his shocking lack of professionalism and basic courtesy. I attempted to interject and explain how inappropriate his behavior was, but he simply would not stop.
Other waiters are nice!
What should have been a simple, quick end to a nice meal turned into an awfully uncomfortable scene. It’s a shame that one staff member's poor judgment and inability to manage a minor situation with grace can ruin the reputation of a previously great place.
Based on this experience, I cannot recommend it and am unsure if I will ever return. Unacceptable is the only...
Read moreDear Nabuco Tiramisu,
I am writing to share my recent experience at your cafeteria, as I believe feedback is valuable for improving customer satisfaction.
During my visit, I encountered an issue with the service provided by a gentleman working behind the bar (a bold man with an older appearance). Unfortunately, I waited for 15 minutes at the bar to pay, only to be told I needed to walk back to my table to provide the table number. This was frustrating, especially as the table was clearly visible from the bar, and I was unaware of your table numbering system.
Additionally, I witnessed the same gentleman dismiss two of your customers inquiring about available tables by instructing them to look for them themselves, which I found unwelcoming and rude.
This was disappointing because my sister and I enjoyed the cakes, tiramisu, and coffee during our visit. However, this negative experience overshadowed our time there and has deterred me from returning while this individual remains part of the team.
Thank you for your attention to this matter, and I hope my feedback can contribute to enhancing the overall customer experience at your...
Read moreI used to go to Nabucco Tiramisu quite often—mainly for their focaccia, which I always enjoyed, and the overall quality of the food, which was consistently good. It’s also conveniently close to my home, so it had become one of my go-to spots.
However, on a recent visit, I had a disappointing experience that really changed how I feel about the place. When I was about to order something else, one of the waiters (a bald man that apparently has been mentioned before here by his bad behaviour) responded with a surprisingly rude attitude. It left me feeling unwelcome, as if I was bothering them by simply being a customer.
It’s a real shame, because I genuinely liked this place, but that kind of behavior is unacceptable. As much as I enjoyed the food, I don’t feel comfortable supporting an establishment where customers are treated like an inconvenience—especially when we’re the ones keeping the business going. Unfortunately, I won’t...
