I absolutely loved the soul of this place - They went out of their way to accommodate my needs as a vegetarian. I genuinely loved the service too. But I have to be honest here - I really don't think they did justice to the taste - it just seemed like they didn't understand the vegetarian palette. This is more on me than them, they recreated a lot of their dishes for my vegetarian request and maybe that's what caused it. I really want to give this place a good rating, and I am absolutely sure their regular offerings are phenomenal. I really am. They are also so well priced, for the quality of food that they offer. I'll visit this place again, because I'm sure it was just an off day, or that maybe I expected something way off their usual expertise - but I highly recommend this place to everyone. Extraordinario menú degustación a un precio sorprendentemente barato en un pequeño restaurante con un trato exquisito.

Al mediodía sirven menú, con pocas opciones: Hay que elegir 2 primeros, 2 segundos y 2 postres. Por 12,20€

También se puede pedir, y recomiendo hacerlo, el menú degustación: media ración de todos los platos del menú, que en nuestro caso se compuso de: Salmorejo con jamón y huevo – Una sorprendente y cítrica ensalada tibia de pepino, calabacín y patata al “curry verde” – Excelente bacalao con espinacas, pepinillo y salsa verde –Ternera guisada con berenjena, estupenda y melosa –Clafoutis de paraguayo, que deja con ganas de repetir – Por último una mousse cocida de chocolate. Todo por 14€ (Si, catorce euros), bebida incluida.

El local es muy pequeño, y tiene más mesas en su exterior que en el interior. Esto no supone un problema excepto si hace mucho sol o llueve. La calle es tranquila y el tránsito no molesta. El restaurante lo gestionan dos personas, un camarero y un cocinero que también sirve a las mesas. Su trato es exquisito.

A mejorar: En mi opinión la ración de pan es muy escasa (media rebanada pequeña por comensal) y, en caso de pedir una ración adicional, su precio me parece excesivo (2€ por una rebanada pequeña partida...

Charming restaurant located in a very quiet area in the Sant Gervasi neighborhood. Friendly service, reasonable prices and delicious dishes!
