Aquí Hi Ha Molla — Restaurant in Barcelona

Hidden gem near Parc de la Ciutadella. We've been here three times this week after discovering it. We came twice for tapas. The bravas are great (better than most places) with a really special sauce, really recommended. The eggplant with honey and cheese is a can't-miss delicious and special plate. The burger with foie also very recommended. The torreznos were prepared differently to other places I've seen (cut thinner and across) and were tastier (and seemed healthier) than in other places. The toasts (torradas) are huge and can be shared by 4 people.

We also went with a group of 8 for a Saturday lunch. The menus are affordable (even cheaper on weekdays) and here we discovered that this place is really special. The canelon was delicious and different to any other I've tried before. The meats also great. And, then, the highlight was at the end with desserts. The cheese flam with blueberries was better than any cheesecake I've ever had.

The service is great. The owner is nice, approachable and is there available for anything you need any time. All plates are prepared by his wife. Amazing to have such a family restaurant with this quality level. It tells how much they work and how much effort and love they put in everything they do. We visited barcelona from England with my wife and daughter aswell as her favourite toys pikachu and squirtle.
