Restaurant Barroca — Restaurant in Barcelona

We had made a table reservation for us and our guests from US and Canada. It was terrible!! After the visit we were told by employees at the restaurant that the waiter that served us had lost his job due to bad behavior towards customers. I can tell you that he did nothing to show the restaurant that they had made the wrong decision. He threw everything at the table, was rude, gave 1 bread instead of 1 each, served wrong drinks and accused us for lying, served wrong food and missed orders so that some of us did not get any food. He was rude and yelled at us. My new dress got destroyed since he spilled melted butter on it when he threw the plate on the table. I wrote a letter to the owner telling about what had happened and asking for compensation for destroyed dinner and dress. He answered and apologized and told us that we would be compensated. Then his insurance company contacted us and the list of information they needed was ridiculous, pictures, copy of id-card, nie number, copy of bank statement, address etc etc. I don’t care and will not put that much effort to get some sort of compensation. It would have been easy offering us a new dinner. Save your money and try...

Overall it was a confusing lunch. The ambience is nice and the service was good, however some dishes were not my favourite. I got dishes from menu of the day; the curry shrimp pasta was my favourite from their appetizers, highly recommended.
