Do you like dumplings 🥟❓ I do. I like all of them (well, if they're dairy free 😉). My son too. So if we want to have a nice time together (and I don't want to spend too much 💰), dumplings are always a good option. 👍 But my son is a kid and kids are full of surprises... 😅 If you take him to a regular Asian spot, he'll want to order dumplings, and if you take him to a dumpling spot, he'll want anything else... 🙃 A couple of weeks ago, I took him to Baozi Bar (@baozibar123), which had been on my bucket list 📋 for quite some time. And he wanted to order some soup 🍜.. 😅 Luckily I managed to convince him to have a few dumplings 🥟 and some rice 🍚 instead of the soup cause that was easier to share. 🙏 We had some chestnut gyozas (but I could not feel the chestnut 🌰) and some beef 🐄 xiao long bao. Both were very good. 👍 Unfortunately, the rice dishes we ordered were not as good... well, they were not good. We had some rice with seaweed and sesame (I thought that would be like in Korea but no) and some fried chicken and rice. Both super dull. I found them totally uninteresting. 😴 The service was quite slow but the clerks were nice. The venue is quite cold and it was totally empty when we arrived... on the inside cause the terrace was packed. I did not expect much of the venue but... I did not expect the subway 🚆 to run under my feet 👣 every 2 minutes either. Honestly: super annoying. It felt like we were eating on the train and we couldn't have a normal conversation without being interrupted by an earthquake. 😮💨 That plus the guy on the table next to us who was basically shouting his stories... the vibes were not ideal, to say the least. 😓 But the price was great: I paid €24 for the both of us, including a couple of soft drinks but no dessert. 👏

Read moreJust a splendid place with very nice staff (I asked to replace my wakame with a tofu salad and the sweet girl ran back and managed to swap the order); very relaxing music; number of locals walking in (proof it's a loved place) and of course, every choice we had from the mini spring roles, 8 vegetable xiao long baos to wanton soup was smashing... definitely miles ahead from what we get back in Melbourne Australia...and oh for Euro 20 ?!?? Duh...can I just eat here please...beautiful glass windows with the daylight streaming in...and lovely ambience 🤗🤗🥰🥰😇😇... thank...
Read moreThis isn’t a large restaurant, but it’s understaffed to say the least. Walking in, the bar is covered in dirty dishes, the empty terrace tables are covered in bottles and dishes, and there’s seemingly one server.
Twice i asked to order and was forgotten. While the prices are respectable, waiting 20 minutes patiently to have a food order taken isn’t ideal, especially in the afternoon on a weekday when it’s not busy.
I don’t recommend this place, as it’s not the first time I’ve had this experience, but it’s gotten...
